Morris says, “You know with all of the leaks and counter-leaks and accusations and denials, it’s easy to lose sight of the fundamental fact that has emerged in the last week and Obama deliberately, and his people, obfuscate it to cover up this fact. The fact is this, a month after Trump got the nomination, the Obama administration sought permission to wiretap him.”
He continues, “Not his staff, not his aides, him. So he became the Republican nominee when Cruz withdrew on May 3rd. And in June, Obama’s administration, with the approval of the Justice Department, with the approval of his appointee Loretta Lynch, went to the FISA court and asked for permission to put wiretaps on the Republican Presidential candidate.”

During his Facebook Live video, Obama’s former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino said the liberal media is attempting to push a narrative that Trump is lying about the wiretapping.
Bongino went on to explain that Trump’s Secret Service protection likely did electronic countermeasure sweeps and found bugs and other electronic listening devices and computer hacking measures used against Trump.

In fact, Harry Reid even pleaded with Comey to make his findings public.

Back in November, just days before the election, FBI Director Comey came under fire for re-opening Hillary Clinton’s email investigation. Senate Minority leader, Harry Reid sent him a blistering open letter, accusing the FBI of withholding ‘explosive information’ linking Trump and his advisors to the Russian government — the wire-tapped information.
In Harry Reid’s open letter to Comey he accused Comey of “possessing” explosive information.
He even stated that he’s been asking Comey to release the information to the public:
“In my communications with you and other top officials in the national security community, it has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors, and the Russian government – a foreign interest openly hostile to the United States, which Trump praises at every opportunity,” he said. “I wrote to you months ago calling for this information to be released to the public…and yet, you continue to resist calls to inform the public of this critical information.”
But it gets even better.
Harry Reid sent this letter to Comey just a single day before Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton sent out a tweet about the wiretap, effectively showing that the Democratic party elites, the unelected government, and intelligence community were very aware that Trump was under surveillance by the Obama administration.
