World War 3 -Seven times it has been wrongly declared or predicted

One day after the Moskva, the flagship of Moscow’s Black Sea fleet, was sunk, a well-known Russian state TV host declared: “One can fairly describe what it has escalated into World War III. That’s for sure.”
The Rossiya 1 star and household propagandist Olga Skabeyeva pleaded with her viewers to “recognize” the country was now “fighting against Nato infrastructure, if not Nato itself” in a scathing tirade that appeared to be an attempt to justify Russia’s halting success in Ukraine.
Many people are asking, ‘Could it not be done more quickly?'” she continued.
Everyone desires a quicker outcome. Everyone wants to win decisively. Everyone wants all of the goals to be accomplished.
Otherwise, generally speaking, it’s impossible to accept the special operation we began – Russia’s special operation in Ukraine.
The Kremlin’s attack has taken a new hit as it gets ready for a new assault in the eastern Donbas region, which has been hailed as the turning point for the outcome of the conflict. Ukraine claims that its Neptune missiles were responsible for the destruction of the Moskva.
However, Ms. Skabeyeva’s grave prognosis that Western intervention will spark the next big international battle echoed a number of other ominous predictions of world war, from Cold War propaganda to Elon Musk claiming that artificial intelligence will usher in war.
The timeline of the world wars that never happened is provided here.

16th Century: Followers of Nostradamus claim World War III to arrive ‘within the next several years’

Yes, there is no doubt that the first reported forecast of World War Three came many hundred years before the first two.
In his book Les Prophéties, a collection of 942 poetic quatrains, the 16th-century astrologer, physician, and supposed seer Nostradamus is said to have predicted that World War III will break out “over the following several years.”
Additionally, according to his admirers, the Frenchman predicted both of the world wars of the 20th century.
In a statement to WION News last year, Nostradamus expert Bobby Shailer said: “Nostradamus believes it would be a major protracted conflict, 25 to 29 years, followed by smaller skirmishes.”
However, academics have long cast doubt on Nostradamus’ purportedly “prophetic” works.

1950: US poll finds half of Americans consider World War III to have started

More than half of Americans believed that World War III had already begun, according to a Gallup poll conducted in December 1950 amid simmering tensions between the US and the Soviet Union.
A year after the Soviet Union detonated their first nuclear warhead in 1949, ending America’s monopoly on the atomic bomb, the alarming survey was released during the height of the Cold War, between 1948 and 1953.

2016: Trump predicts US will end up in WWIII over Syria if it ‘listens to Hillary Clinton’

Donald Trump issued a dire warning just days before his victory in the 2016 US presidential election: “If we listen to Hillary Clinton, we’re going to end up in World War III over Syria.”
Mr. Trump criticized Ms. Clinton’s proposal to impose a no-fly zone to protect its hapless inhabitants, claiming that doing so would put the United States in danger of war with “nuclear” Russia.
You’re battling Iran, Russia, and Syria now, aren’t you fighting Syria anymore?
Trump clarified.
Russia is a nuclear power, but unlike other nuclear-armed nations, it actually uses its weapons.

2017: Elon Musk claims AI could prompt next global conflict

Elon Musk cautioned that artificial intelligence (AI) could pose the biggest existential threat to humanity, this time by igniting a third global war, in response to remarks made by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the future of artificial intelligence.
On September 4, 2017, at 2.33 a.m. (Los Angeles time), Musk tweeted that the planet may be approaching its end.
It came after Mr. Putin made a declaration that “artificial intelligence is the future, not only for Russia, but for all of humanity. It comes with enormous opportunities, as well as risks that are challenging to foresee. Whoever assumes control of this arena will also assume control of the entire planet.
“China, Russia, and soon all countries with excellent computer science,” Musk continued. In my opinion, country competition for AI superiority will most certainly lead to World War 3.
If an AI determines that a preemptive strike is the most likely course of action for success, it “may be initiated not by the country’s leaders, but by one of the AI’s.”

2019: Trump suggests Obama’s handling of North Korea would have led to ‘World War III’

Yes, he’s back. When tensions between North Korea and the United States were at their highest, then-president Donald Trump touted his friendship with the country’s leader and asserted that if Barack Obama had still been in office, the US would have entered a global conflict.
He might only have that kind of relationship with me, wherever in the world. It’s referred to as the Hermit Kingdom. During the NATO summit in London, Mr. Trump boasted, “I know a lot about his Hermit Kingdom.
However, I have a great relationship. If you had listened to President Obama, World War III would already be underway.
When asked about recent missile launches by the east Asian nation at a meeting with the military alliance’s secretary-general, Jens Stoltenberg, Trump brought up his previous moniker for Kim Jong-Un.
“I have confidence in him. I like him, he likes me, we have a good relationship. We’ll see what happens. He definitely likes sending rockets up, doesn’t he? That’s why I call him Rocket Man,” the president said. “But we have a very good relationship and we’ll see what happens. It may work out, it may not, but in the meantime it’s been a long time.”

2022: Former Ukrainian PM claims World War III has already begun

Nearly three weeks after Russia invaded its neighbor, the former prime minister of Ukraine declared that a third world war had “already started” and that other nations needed to fully penalize Russia and implement a no-fly zone.
Volodymyr Groysman asserted in a speech from his native Vinnytsia, in central Ukraine, that his nation was the “sole defense” for Europe against Russia’s westward expansion.
