Israel argues in front of the International Court of Justice in the Hague that while there is a “tragic war” ongoing in Gaza, “there is no genocide.”

“By exploiting the genocide convention, South Africa is suggesting a convoluted reading of international law, under which any conflict can be brought to this court,” Israeli attorney Gilad Noam tells the justices.

“There is a tragic war going on, but there is no genocide,” he says. “There is a danger that the court will find itself engaged in micromanagement of an armed conflict — which is what South Africa wants it to do.”

Noam suggests that South Africa is allied with Hamas, “which it does not wish to see defeated.”

He points to the South African foreign minister meeting with a Hamas delegation in Johannesburg earlier this year, and says she “did not urge Hamas to release hostages, cease using human shields, cease operating in UN hospitals, other protected sites.”

South Africa, Noam says, “is not interested in truth, law or justice.”

Israel’s defence against charges of genocide at the International Court of Justice in The Hague was briefly interrupted by a protester during closing statements on Friday. Israel is facing allegations of genocide after South Africa asked the top UN court’s judges to order it to halt operations in Rafah and completely withdraw its forces from the Palestinian territory.

WASHINGTON, May 13 (Reuters) – U.S. national security adviser Jake Sullivan said on Monday that President Joe Biden‘s administration does not view the killings of Palestinians in Gaza by Israel in its war with Hamas as genocide.
Sullivan said the United States wants to see Hamas defeated. He also said that Palestinians caught in the middle of the war were in “hell” and that a major military operation by Israel in Rafah would be a mistake.
“We do not believe what is happening in Gaza is a genocide. We have been firmly on record rejecting that proposition,” Sullivan told reporters at the White House.
Sullivan expressed concern about reports of Israeli settlers attacking a humanitarian aid convoy on its way to Erez Crossing in northern Gaza, the second such incident in less than a week.
“It is a total outrage that there are people who are attacking and looting these conveys,” Sullivan said. “It is completely and utterly unacceptable behavior.”

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
