For many years, Republicans have been calling out Democrats for their failed leadership in America’s inner cities. Major cities that have been run by Democrats for decades are crime-infested, poverty-stricken, and harm millions of Americans.
Speaking at Trinity University in March, conservative pundit Dinesh D’Souza had some strong words about how Democrats are the real racists in America because of how they have let the inner cities crumble under their watch.
“Let me just say this. If one goes today to the Democratic controlled inner city,” he stated. “We will see in them now, all the five features of the slave plantation.”
D’Souza, citing a book by Kenneth Stampp, then listed five similarities between America’s slave plantations from over 100 years ago and America’s inner cities today.
“Number one, broken down, dilapidated and unsafe housing. Number two, broken families,” D’Souza explained. “Number three, a high degree of violence required to hold the place together.”
“Number four, everybody gets a basic provision … but nobody gets ahead. The Southerners and the Democrats used to call slavery a ‘school of civilization,’” he explained.
D’Souza said the fifth and final point was “a feeling that there was no future,” among the residents of these places. “That this is an inter-generational, ongoing, lasting way of life.”
He then explained that the United States government has spent “trillions” of dollars on the inner cities, but there has been no noticeable change. “The Democrats have been in charge of fixing it, and yet many of these places are no better off than they were in 1967,” he stated.
“At the very least, this displays a callous and shocking disdain for the welfare for the people who live in those communities,” D’Souza said of Democrat leadership.
D’Souza rounded out his remarks by saying that if President Donald Trump could actually connect with the folks in the inner cities — and bring about change — that would be a “mammoth opportunity for the Republican party.”
He is absolutely right. For too long inner city folks have been held down by Democrats and their failed policies — and Republicans haven’t put in enough effort toward fighting back.
If Trump can change this narrative and change these inner cities for the better, the Democrat party will continue to fall to pieces as it is exposed for the corruption, incompetence and selfishness that is rampant among its politicians.

Dinesh D’Souza: Hillary And Obama ‘Wrecked The Democratic Party’
“They are at war with the aspirations of ordinary people.”
Documentary filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza appeared as a “Fox and Friends” guest on Tuesday where he spoke to co-host Brian Kilmeade about how former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Hussein Obama destroyed the Democrat Party.
Kilmeade asked the conservative speaker if it was a good idea for the DNC to send Clinton and Obama out to raise money on the campaign trail.
D’Souza replied, “Maybe from a fundraising point of view it makes sense. I think in a deeper way, the Democrats are trying to recapture some of the magic from the Clinton 90s and maybe from Obama’s first term in office.” He adds, “But the reality is these are two people, Obama and Hillary, who are who have wrecked the brand of the Democratic Party. They have taken a party that was perceived as fighting for the ordinary guy, fighting for his economic interest, fighting for his values, to now being a party that it is economically and culturally at war with the aspirations of ordinary people.”
He zinged the two Democrats, “So I think the hilarious part of this is the two people who have poisoned the waters are now showing up as the water commissioners.”
Kilmeade pointed out, “That’s interesting because nobody has the courage on the left to stand-up to them. Bottom line, the most active Democratic politician is a leftist. He’s a socialist. He’s Bernie Sanders, not even officially in the party. How do you gel the two if you are a Democrat in the party hoping for the best in the mid-terms?”
D’Souza answered, “I think that for awhile, people were so exhausted with the deep levels of narcissism and corruption on the part of Obama and Hillary, that they were looking at Bernie at sort of an honest outsider. He might have be a little wacked out, but nevertheless, he seemed to have a certain kind of decency to him.” He continued, “The problem is now, even Bernie has been caught with his hands in the cookie jar. He is embroiled in a financial scandal involving his wife. So it appears that the contamination in the Democrat Party not merely ideological, but also financial runs pretty deep.”
