Gunman Kills 26 People In Mass Shooting At Texas Church

A gunman shot and killed more than two dozen people during a Sunday service at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, state officials said.

Police say the shooter, who has been identified as 26-year-old Devin P. Kelley of New Braunfels, Texas, walked inside the church and opened fire just before 11:30 a.m. local time.

Kelley was dressed in a mask and tactical gear and used a semi-automatic rifle to unload “clip after clip” into the church, a neighbor who witnessed the shooting told San Antonio’s ABC affiliate KSAT News.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott confirmed that 26 people were killed and as many as 30 other wounded in the shooting. The death toll makes the attack the deadliest shooting at a place of worship in American history.

“We all know what happened here today. It’s something we all say does not happen in small communities,” Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt said at a Sunday evening press conference. “Today we found out that it does.”

The victims ranged from 5 to 72 years old, officials said. First responders found 23 dead bodies inside the church, two more outside, and one person who was transported to a hospital but later died.

One of those killed was a 14-year-old girl named Annabelle Renee Pomeroy, her father Frank Pomeroy confirmed to ABC News. Frank Pomeroy, who is a pastor at First Baptist, said he was in Oklahoma for the weekend, one of the rare instances when he is not at the church on Sunday.

As Kelley exited the church, he was confronted by a local resident armed with his own weapon, according to Texas Department of Public Safety Regional Director Freeman Martin. The resident began firing at the gunman, causing him to flee in his vehicle toward neighboring Guadalupe County.

“The local citizen pursued him,” Martin said, adding that the gunman was found deceased behind the wheel after running off the road about 11 miles north of the shooting scene.

“We don’t know if it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound or if he was shot by our local resident who engaged him in a gunfight,” he said.

Shortly after the shooting, FBI agents and Texas Rangers arrived at First Baptist to assist with the investigation, according to KSAT reporter Max Massey. San Antonio police officers and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were later dispatched to search the shooter’s house and vehicle for explosives.

First responders called in several medical helicopters to transport victims to nearby hospitals. Eight of the wounded were transported to Brooke Army Medical Center and at least 10 other victims were taken to Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville, Texas, reports the San Antonio Express-News.

President Donald Trump said Sunday afternoon that he had been briefed on the incident and was monitoring the situation from Japan.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott also expressed condolences on Twitter before traveling to Sutherland Springs to meet with law enforcement officials and victims’ families.

Sutherland Springs is a small town of about 650 residents located 35 miles east of San Antonio.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information is learned.

Texas Gun Owner Stopped Church Shooting Rampage

A church shooting in Sutherland Texas was stopped after a local gun owner grabbed his rifle and began returning fire at the shooter, police announced Sunday.

Police say the shooter, who has been identified as 26-year-old Devin P. Kelley of New Braunfels, Texas, walked inside the church and opened fire just before 11:30 a.m. local time. Kelly killed at least 26 people before an unidentified gun owner forced him to flee by grabbing his own rifle and returning fire, Texas Rangers announced Sunday.

“At approximately 11:20 this morning a suspect was seen at a Valero gas station in Sutherland Springs, Texas,” Police Maj. Freeman Martin told reporters. “He was dressed in all black. That suspect crossed the street to the church, exited his vehicle and began firing at the church.”

“That suspect then moved to the right side of the church and then continued to fire,” he continued. “That suspect entered the church and continued to fire. As he exited the church, a local resident grabbed his rifle and engaged that suspect. The suspect dropped his rifle, which was a Ruger AR assault-type rifle and fled from the church.”

“Our local citizen pursued the suspect at that time,” Freeman said. “A short time later law enforcement responded that [the] suspect [was] right at the Wilson/Guadalupe County line … and was found deceased in his vehicle. At this time we don’t know if it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound or if he was shot by the local resident. We know he’s deceased in the vehicle. ”

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, confirmed that 26 people were killed and as many as 30 other wounded in the shooting. The death toll makes the attack the deadliest shooting at a place of worship in American history.

“We all know what happened here today. It’s something we all say does not happen in small communities,” Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt said at a Sunday evening press conference. “Today we found out that it does.”

We Now Know Which News Network the Texas Shooter ‘Liked’

Multiple sources have now reported that prior to being taken down, the Texas shooter Devin Kelly’s Facebook account revealed he was an atheist who was a fan of CNN.

CNN, along with MSNBC are favorites of the far left and have been leading Anti-Trump propaganda efforts for over 2 years.

Devin Kelly’s linkedin also shows his propensity towards liberal democrat causes.

TEXAS CHURCH MASSACRE: C-List Actor Wil Wheaton Can’t Resist Mocking Christians, Prayer On Twitter

Pretending to be upset about the massacre of Christians at a Texas baptist church, C-list actor Wil Wheaton exploited the opportunity to mock the whole concept of prayer.

It’s probably a good thing overall when vile secular liberals show their true colors, but sometimes it’s still just almost too nasty.

Along those lines, C-list actor Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next GenerationThe Big Bang TheoryStand by Me) couldn’t help himself after Sunday’s massacre at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. He tweeted the following, at House Speaker Paul Ryan:

The response on Twitter was swift and quite negative:

Predictably enough, after being called out (and perhaps being aware of what happened to Hayley Geftman-Gold, now formerly of CBS’s legal department, Wheaton made a lame attempt at backtracking:

Shortly thereafter, after being further called out, he made it worse:

Need we even bother speculating about whether Wheaton would say anything of the sort if the massacre had taken place in a mosque and the victims had been Muslims?!?

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
