Here’s why the “Greenhouse Effect” is not real ..
Energy as heat is transferred from the sun to the surface of the earth by short wave radiation. The then heated surface of the earth is warming the atmosphere by long wave infrared radiation based on how much energy it is getting from the sun. The energy (heat) is transported up in the atmosphere by convecting air that is replaced by descending, cooler air. Any effect of CO2 in this process has never been measured due to the density of the lower part of the Troposphere and water vapor (Latent Heat).
The more energy (heat) the surface receives from the sun, the more convection (cooling) it creates.
At no point in that process does adding random molecules make the atmosphere heat the surface, i.e. heat its own heat source, that is impossible no matter what passive substances you are adding.
That means “Back Radiation” (part of the “Greenhouse Gas” BS-theory) is 100% wrong!
No matter what altitude the “Back Radiation” start from, any energy (heat) radiating downwards will have to overcome convection, water vapor (Latent Heat), a gradually denser atmosphere and higher temperature as it descends. Now we know why that never happens (in the real world) – Warm always goes towards cold – No exceptions!!
