He did not say how, but part of my answer goes like this: “Only a small amount of energy gets trapped on its way to the surface.
The surface is heated by the sun, the energy is convected out and up in the atmopshere, these are the facts.
What you claim would mean there would be less storms, hurricanes and wind – Which is the complete opposite of what the “Green” Rent & Grant Seeking Community of Activists and Criminals, mostly Criminals (UN IPCC Et. Al.) is claiming.

The reason for my answer is; if plant food (CO2) would “.. interfere with Earth’s ability to cool itself ..” That can only mean that plant food (CO2) is preventing convection because that is how the surface is cooling itself.
Last post in that thread is an activists who posted: “No one ever claimed the atmosphere heats the atmosphere ..”
