“Greenies” are perpetrating a “con” against themselves and the rest of the world given the “inconvenient truth” is coal remains a valuable commodity, according to Sky News host Cory Bernardi.
Mr Bernardi said despite “governments, corporates and too many of our citizens” leaving behind “logic for greenwashing” coal continues to prevail as “cheap and reliable electricity”.
Coal, which is “one of the woke world’s least liked commodities,” is also “one of this years best-performing assets” given the expectations for growth in demand.
Mr Bernardi remarked that coal also continues to boom across Asia, with plans “to develop over 600 coal-fired power units”.
