NY Times Editorial Board: Biden Should Exit Race to Serve the Nation

Published June 29, 2024

President Joe Biden should exit the 2024 presidential race following a subpar debate performance against former President Donald Trump, during which he appeared on the stage as “the shadow of a great public servant,” said The New York Times’ editorial board.

“He struggled to explain what he would accomplish in a second term. He struggled to respond to Mr. Trump’s provocations. He struggled to hold Mr. Trump accountable for his lies, his failures, and his chilling plans. More than once, he struggled to make it to the end of a sentence,” the Times’ editorial said.

“Mr. Biden has said that he is the candidate with the best chance of taking on this threat of tyranny and defeating it. His argument rests largely on the fact that he beat Mr. Trump in 2020,” it said. “That is no longer a sufficient rationale for why Mr. Biden should be the Democratic nominee this year.”

The letter follows defections from other media allies, including MSNBC host Joe Scarborough; New York Times columnist Thomas L. Friedman; and Evan Osnos, Biden’s biographer.

Another Times opinion columnist, Lydia Polgreen, wrote a column saying Kamala Harris, Biden’s vice president, would make a good replacement who could win the election. “I think I speak for a lot of women, probably the most decisive voting bloc in this election, when I say that I would love to see Harris cut Trump down to size,” she wrote.

RELATED: Biden Should Drop Out After “Failed” Debate Performance, Says NYT

Published June 29, 2024

“Mr. Biden is not the man he was four years ago,” the New York Times said today in the understatement of the moment as it a called for the incumbent to bow out of this year’s race against Donald Trump before it’s too late.

“The president appeared on Thursday night as the shadow of a great public servant,” the paper’s Editorial Board wrote late Friday in a piece headlined “To Serve His Country, President Biden Should Leave the Race.”

“(T)he greatest public service Mr. Biden can now perform is to announce that he will not continue to run for re-election.”

The unprecedented insistence by the Grey Lady comes after nearly 24 hours of hand wringing and calls for an intervention as the weak voiced 81-year-old Biden stumbled and croaked through his primetime showdown with Trump on CNN.

“It’s too big a bet to simply hope Americans will overlook or discount Mr. Biden’s age and infirmity that they see with their own eyes,” the Editorial Board piece noted bluntly.

Earlier Friday, joining a chorus from the Washington Post and others NYT columnists Thomas L. Friedman and Paul Krugman both pleaded with Biden to drop out.

RELATED: Media Declares Biden Campaign Dead After Debate; Some Democrats Want Biden To ‘Step Down’

Published June 28, 2024

Media pundits and commentators declared President Joe Biden’s campaign dead on Thursday night after his disastrous showing against former President Donald Trump in the election’s first presidential debate.

The panic from left-wing CNN pundits matched the network’s own polling, which found that 67% of respondents said Trump won the debate, compared to only 33% for Biden.

“He’s doing the best that he can,” said CNN Democrat analyst Van Jones. “But he had a test to meet tonight to restore confidence in the country and of the base, and he failed to do that.”

Jones went even further, saying that Biden needed to end his campaign. “We’re still far from our convention,” he said. “And there is time for this party to figure out a different way forward if he will allow us to do that.”

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
