On Tuesday, multiple reports from different news organizations revealed that President Donald Trump has decided to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal.
At a press conference, Trump announced that the U.S. was pulling out of the agreement, saying, “It is clear to me we cannot prevent an Iranian nuclear bomb under the decaying and rotten structure of the current agreement. The Iran deal is defective at its core.”
Trump added that former President Barack Obama’s Iran deal was an embarrassment to him as a U.S. citizen, saying, “At the point when the U.S. had maximum leverage, this disastrous deal gave this regime, and it is a regime of great terror, many billions of dollars, some of it in actual cash. A great embarrassment to me as a citizen and to all citizens of the United States.”
“Great things can happen for the peace and stability that we all want in the Middle East. There has been enough suffering, death, and destruction. Let it end now,” Trump continued. “When I make promises, I keep them. In fact, at this very moment, [Secretary of State Mike] Pompeo is on his way to North Korea in preparation for my upcoming meeting with Kim Jong Un.”
In an exclusive interview with The Daily Wire, a former high-ranking government official who is an expert on nuclear weapons said that Obama’s Iran deal was a joke and that Iran most likely already has nuclear weapons.
Dr. Peter Vincent Pry is the executive director of the Task Force on National and Homeland Security, and director of the U.S. Nuclear Strategy Forum, both Congressional advisory boards, and served as the chief of staff on the Congressional EMP Commission, the Congressional Strategic Posture Commission, the House Armed Services Committee, and the CIA.
“I think Iran has already got the bomb,” Pry told The Daily Wire. “I think Iran has already got nuclear weapons mounted on missiles and has the potential to do an EMP attack against the United States right now.”
Pry pointed to a number of indicators that he explained are strong signs that Iran has most likely had nuclear capabilities for some time.
