Ronna-McDaniel
“Shadowbanning” comes from the act of a social service banning a user or their content while the user is unaware of the ban
The media giant, Twitter, is accused of “Shadowbanning” many conservative Republicans as reported by Vice News, The term “Shadowbanning” comes from the act of an online media service banning a user or their content while the user is unaware of the ban. Vice reports “The Republican Party chair Ronna McDaniel, several conservative Republican congressmen, and Donald Trump Jr.’s spokesman no longer appear in the auto-populated drop-down search box on Twitter.”
The auto-populated drop-down search box is the most convenient way of searching for people on Twitter, yet Ronna McDaniel, Rep. Mark Meadows, Rep. Jim Jordan, Rep. Matt Gaetz, Rep. Devin Nunes, and Trump Jr.’s spokesman Andrew Surabian’s names all did not appear.
Twitter has denied these targeted bans and rather gave the explanation that it was an algorithmic glitch which will be fixed
Twitter has denied these targeted bans and rather gave the explanation that it was an algorithmic glitch which will be fixed. However, these “glitches” have not affected similar top Democrats. Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter to relay a message directly to its CEO Jack Dorsey “@Jack it’s time for you to #StopTheBias against conservatives and Trump supporters and fix this once and for all,” he tweeted.
So now @twitter is censoring @GOPChairwoman?
Enough is enough with this crap. @Jack it’s time for you to #StopTheBias against conservatives and Trump supporters and fix this once and for all. https://t.co/JC6i6y01Ek

Jack Dorsey responded to this issue tweeting “A short thread addressing some issues folks are encountering as a result of our conversational health work, specifically the perception of “shadowbanning” based on content or ideology. It suffices to say we have a lot more work to do to earn people’s trust on how we work.”

Recently, a letter was sent to Facebook and Twitter by Ronna McDaniel and Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale, as the two companies face serious charges of anti-conservative bias.
We won’t tolerate bias toward conservatives or @realDonaldTrump supporters. We’re standing up for you and demanding answers. @GOPChairwoman and I have sent the following letter to @facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and @Twitter’s @jack Dorsey. #StopTheBias pic.twitter.com/Poz0Dne9i7
