Instead temperature is dictated by pressure, mass and gravity and what is thought of as a “Greenhouse Effect” is actually just delayed cooling due to the atmosphere’s density and water vapor (Latent Heat). Quantifying it would just be specualtion, but it is claimed that over 95% of all heat conservation is caused by Latent Heat, or water vapor (not CO2!).
The sun provide over 99% of all energy to the surface of the earth!
The “Greenhouse Effect” has never been empirically measured anywhere, the reason for that is that the density of the lower part of the atmosphere is too great, infrared radiation do not reach very far before absorbed, most likely by water vapor.
Water vapor releases its heat content by condensation after warm, moist (because 71% of the earth surface is water) air masses is being convected, cooled, and when high enough we can see clouds form as a result. That means the surface cools by convection.
Because the lower part of the Troposphere is cooled by convection, not radiation, adding CO2 will make no difference to neither cooling or warming. When we get up to where the clouds form, the temperature difference is minimum 6,5 C. (compared to the surface of the earth), adding CO2 will have an even smaller impact because then the radiation from the extra CO2 not only has to overcome the atmopshere’s increasing density on its way down, it also have to overcome a big temperature difference, convection and distance.
Therefore a few more Carbon Dioxide molecules will never be able to cause the atmosphere to be warm enough to heat its own heat source, which, of course is a contradiction in and on itself and totally impossible. What has ever heated its own heat source? Nothing ever!
But that is what the UN IPCC Et Al want you to believe is possible, and if you haven’t had time to really think this through, you might actually believe it.
This madness won’t stop until we all tell these people, – this is enough!
