Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who famously had a secret meeting with Bill Clinton on an airplane about the Hillary Clinton investigation, is refusing to give the FBI a search warrant to examine the emails contained in Huma Abedin’s laptop seized by the FBI, BizPacReview is reporting.
That laptop – which also belonged to Abedin’s estranged husband, pervert Anthony Weiner – apparently contains emails from Abedin to Hillary Clinton.
If true, it would be further evidence that unsecured emails were being sent and received by Clinton and her staffers.
But when FBI Director James Comey informed Congress that the Bureau reopened the case into Hillary Clinton’s email server, he may not have read any of the emails from the computer of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin’s estranged husband.
Why? Because Attorney General Loretta Lynch has not given the FBI a search warrant to examine the emails, according to an exclusive report by Yahoo News.
The letter to lawmakers was written when Comey “had no idea what was in the content of the emails,” an official familiar with the case said.
The FBI was still seeking a search warrant from the Justice Department as of Saturday night.
“We do not have a warrant,” a senior law enforcement official told Yahoo News. “Discussions are under way [between the FBI and the Justice Department] as to the best way to move forward.”
In other developments, the Clinton campaign is scrambling to cover their bums over the FBI’s reopening of the investigation into Hillary’s personal server.
In doing so, her team is saying things that are factually incorrect. They’re lies, really, and campaign manager Robby Mook has effectively admitted it.
Campaign chairman John Podesta and Hillary herself made statements on Friday that FBI Director James Comey only sent the official letter announcing the development to Republicans in Congress. But that is a lie.
The two-page letter was not only sent to eight GOP committee chairmen, but to the Democratic Ranking members of those same committees. On page two, one can see exactly who the letter was sent to.
Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook was forced to admit to Fox News’ Chris Wallace that Democrats were copied on the letter.
