8 Migrant Buses Head to Chicago After Texas Gov. Abbott Skirts Around New City Ordinance

Published December 31, 2023

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) is continuing to transport illegal migrants to Chicago despite a new city ordinance targeting busing, with eight busloads heading into the sanctuary city Sunday morning after hundreds of asylum seekers were flown in overnight, WGN9 reported.

350 migrants landed late Saturday night in Rockford, an Illinois city about 90 minutes from Chicago, according to WGN9.

The chartered jumbo jet flew from San Antonio, Texas, and touched down at Rockford International Airport around 1:00 a.m., after which the migrants were loaded onto buses, also charted by Abbott.

Some migrants were dropped off in suburbs along the way, but the caravan had not yet reached Chicago as of early Sunday afternoon, city officials told the local outlet.

Abbott has been continuously busing border-crossers to sanctuary cities around the country, including Washington DC, New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles.

An early November Breitbart News report tallied the total number of migrants shipped from Texas at about 63,000, based on numbers provided by Abbott.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) said Sunday that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) was sowing “seeds of chaos” by sending buses of migrants to Chicago without prior warning and called for greater coordination between state and local officials.

In an interview on CBS News’s “Face the Nation,” Johnson confirmed the city of Chicago had seen the arrival of several buses of migrants in the past several nights — and that yesterday, the City had even received an unexpected flight arriving in the city.

“The governor of Texas, Governor Abbott, is determined to continue to sow seeds of chaos. And last night, and several nights before, a number of buses continued to arrive in the city of Chicago, throughout the country without any coordination,” Johnson said. “And now he’s taken on this very dangerous task of placing individuals on airplanes and flying them into our various cities.”

“This is certainly a matter of, not just of our national security, but it’s the type of chaos that this governor is committed to administering,” Johnson added.

RELATED: Texas is sending asylum seekers to major cities by bus with little notice. These mayors want to pump the brakes

Published December 30, 2023

Frustrated by “rogue buses” from Texas dropping off migrants by the thousands, the mayors of New York, Chicago and Denver are trying to slow the surge by requiring the bus operators to coordinate arrivals under the threat of impound, fines and even jail time.

Last week, 14 busloads of migrants from Texas made their way to New York City – the highest total recorded since spring 2022, Mayor Eric Adams said, citing the city’s Asylum Seeker Arrival Center.

At the direction of Texas’ Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, the Lone Star state has bused over 90,000 migrants to “sanctuary cities” run by Democrats like Washington, DC, New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver and Los Angeles since April 2022, according to numbers released by the governor’s office Friday.

In justifying the busing of migrants who cross the southern border, Abbott in a statement last year said “it was just Texas and Arizona that bore the brunt of all the chaos and problems that come with it.”

“Now, the rest of America can understand exactly what is going on,” he said.

Leaders of those cities experiencing an influx of migrants have been grappling with how to accommodate them upon their arrival.

On Wednesday, Adams signed an executive order requiring all charter buses carrying asylum seekers into the city to comply with guidelines that regulate when and where migrants can be dropped off, and requires advance written notice of their arrival.

“It’s about collaboration and turning this disorder into order,” Adams said on “CNN This Morning” Friday. “We have to orderly run our cities.”

The mayor’s order comes on the heels of a surge in southern border crossings that has stretched thin a number of already overwhelmed agencies in the US. Border authorities encountered more than 225,000 migrants along the US-Mexico border in December, marking the highest monthly total recorded since 2000, according to preliminary Homeland Security statistics shared with CNN.

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
