Special Counsel Jack Smith, in a search warrant sent to X, formerly Twitter, requested a vast swathe of information about the account of former President Donald J. Trump, as well as information on the millions of accounts that interacted with it — even those that liked a tweet by Trump in the timeframe of October 2020 to January 2021.
The heavily redacted search warrant requests a list of all users who liked or retweeted posts from Trump between October 2020 and January 2021, including “all associated logs and metadata,” which could cover location data. This extraordinarily expansive request would result in data on millions of American users being turned over to the DOJ.
X/Twitter initially delayed complying with the request, per the New York Post, resulting in a $350,000 fine levied against the company.
The warrant also requests all IP addresses associated with Trump’s account, and a list of all devices used to log in to it. This means that any staffer or aide who logged into the account would have the information divulged to the special prosecutor.
All information on Trump’s “connect” and “notification” tabs was requested, as well as all search history, blocks, mutes, and even drafted tweets.

RELATED: Dirty Jack Smith and Obama Judge Beryl Howell Attempt to Cover-Up How Both Suggested Trump Was a ‘Flight Risk’ to Justify Secret X/Twitter Search Warrant
Published November 29, 2023
Jack Smith and Obama-appointed Judge Beryl Howell are now attempting to cover up the fact that they both suggested Trump was a ‘flight risk’ to justify the nondisclosure order on X/Twitter.
As previously reported, Special Counsel Jack Smith admitted he included inaccurate information when he asked Judge Beryl Howell, an Obama appointee, for a secret search warrant for Trump’s X/Twitter account @RealDonaldTrump.
X was fined $350,000 because it delayed producing the subpoenaed records.
The search warrant was so secret that Trump didn’t even know Jack Smith issued a subpoena for the records.

The unsealing of a redacted search warrant, obtained by Special Counsel Jack Smith in January, to ransack President Trump’s account on X — formerly known as Twitter — surfaces just how deep the prosecutor has dug in his effort to convict the 45th president for allegedly attempting to overturn the 2020 election.
The thought of government attorneys rifling through Mr. Trump’s account cannot be pleasing to the 45th president, whose use of the platform was crucial to his victory in the 2016 election and to defining his public persona during his presidency. Mr. Trump was “permanently suspended” from what was then Twitter in the days after January 6, 2021, when Twitter’s management claimed there was “the risk of further incitement of violence.”
That decision was reversed when the company’s new owner, Elon Musk, described as a defender of free speech, last year held a poll asking if Mr. Trump should be allowed to return. By a 51 percent vote, 15 million users said he should. Mr. Musk, noting that “the people have spoken,” lifted the ban. Mr. Trump, though, has hung back from rejoining in favor of using his own Truth Social service, where his audience is relatively small.

RELATED: ‘Can’t Shed Her Political Role’: Sol Wisenberg Breaks Down How DC Judge Is Doing ‘Tremendous Damage’
Published November 29, 2023
Fox News analyst Sol Wisenberg stated Wednesday that the Washington, D.C., judge who is involved in one of former President Donald Trump’s cases is doing “tremendous damage” to the legal system for not “shedding” her alleged political bias in court.
Wisenberg appeared on “The Ingraham Angle” to discuss U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell and her reportedly left-leaning background.
Fox host Laura Ingraham asked the analyst if there could be any recourse for biased comments made by Howell regarding Trump.
“There’s very little recourse when you realize that they’re within the D.C. U.S. District Court System. I can’t stress enough, Laura, how dangerous this is,” Wisenberg stated.
“You know, the independent judiciary is the crown jewel of the American system, and when a judge doesn’t — can’t shed his or her political role, it does tremendous damage to that.”
