  • The US and NATO have struggled to keep pace with Ukraine’s use of ammunition.

A Ukrainian soldier said he stopped shelling small Russian units because his brigade was running out of US-provided artillery ammunition, per The Times of London.

“When it’s two or three soldiers, I’m not shooting any more; only when it’s a critical situation, say, ten guys close to our infantry, we will work,” Sergeant Taras “Fizruk” told the newspaper.

The 31-year-old mortar gunner said that he and his comrades from the 47th Mechanized Brigade “had ten times more ammunition over the summer.” per the newspaper.

“American rounds come in batches of almost identical weights, which makes it easier to correct fire, with very few duds. Now we have shells from all over the world with different qualities, and we only get 15 for three days. Last week, we got a batch full of duds.”

Dec 7 (Reuters) – Kyiv has agreed with two American firms to jointly manufacture vital 155mm artillery shells in Ukraine, a Ukrainian minister said on Thursday, although production will not start for at least two years.

Demand for 155mm rounds soared following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The U.S. and allies have sent Kyiv more than 2 million and are trying, with limited success, to increase production to replenish stocks.

“We have agreements with two leading American companies to jointly produce, in Ukraine, 155-calibre ammunition,” Oleksandr Kamyshin, minister for strategic industries, said in televised comments.

But he noted that Ukraine had never produced such shells and it would be “a minimum of two years, a maximum of three” before production could begin.

The announcement follows a two-day Ukraine-U.S. defence conference held in Washington, which included bilateral meetings to discuss Ukraine’s battlefield plans for 2024 and measures to make it happen.

RELATED: Kyiv, US aim to move arms production to Ukraine: statement

Published December 7, 2023

KYIV, Ukraine – Kyiv announced Thursday that it had signed an agreement with the United States to help move production of arms to Ukraine, as doubts hang over Western support for its conflict with Russia.

Since the beginning of Russia’s invasion, Ukraine has depended on Western weapons and ammunition to hold out against Russian forces.

But after nearly two years of conflict there are signs of growing weariness in Europe and the United States to provide more financial and military aid.

The memorandum sets localisation of the defence industry in Ukraine as one of the main priorities,” a statement released by the Ukrainian presidency said.

“The document will facilitate the building of production facilities in our country to provide the armed forces with the necessary weapons, in particular in the areas of air defence, production of critical munitions, and repair and sustainment,” it said.

The presidency said the plans were worked out during a defence industry conference for Ukrainian and US manufacturers held in Washington this week.

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
