Åge Korsvold and a number of “green” airheads, sorry – celebrities have invested in feel-good forest planting in Tanzania to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which doesn’t exist .. ???
From Finansavisen
Åge Korsvold and Mads Asprem were planning to sell Green Resources. It is easier said than done. In Thursday’s norwegian newspaper called, Finansavisen, we can read that they are struggling with bidders getting leaks from board meetings and authorities that collect taxes using the military and the police.
In a report from the Board meeting of March 10, Green Resources noted that through repeated leaks from the board to external parties that have participated in the sales process, “an unbearable work situation for the board and administration has caused major damage to Green Resources”.
According to Finansavisen, Green Resources boss Erik Knive has had contact with two bidders and states that one named bidder has obviously had inside information from discussions and decisions in the Green Resources Board.
At the same time, Green Resources is still struggling with its operations, and the business in Tanzania reports large debt posts that still not is paid in full. As a result, the tax collection in the country, Tanzania Revenue Authority, has arrested several of the assets of Green Resources’ sawmill Sao Hill.
According to Finansavisen, this resulted in the tax claim having plunged into the facility, supported by both the military and the police. This is stated in the Green Resources management documents.
