As I reported earlier, we saw some hoax-making going on in real-time as the Biden campaign, Democrats, and the media all jumped in to spread the false story about what former President Donald Trump said about a “bloodbath.”

Trump was warning that if Biden won, it would be a “bloodbath” for the auto industry because of Biden’s bad policies. In other words, not something anyone would want. Yet the left and their operatives in the media painted it in their headlines as Trump saying there would be a “bloodbath” if Biden won, without any context. Some even claimed he was promising violence when he wasn’t, and nothing he said was a threat.
Then, even after they were getting called out on the hoax, you still had Trump haters pushing the fiction that though Trump was talking about cars and the auto industry, this still must somehow be a hidden call for violence or that the use of the term “bloodbath” was somehow violent rhetoric (even though Trump was obviously arguing against the economic harm that this would do to the industry and America).

Prominent conservatives on social media tore into several media outlets this weekend for appearing to take former President Trump’s comments at a recent Ohio rally out of context.
Conservative commentators, Republican lawmakers, and others slammed outlets like Rolling Stone, NBC News, and CBS News for sharing headlines about Trump claiming there would be a “bloodbath” if he didn’t win re-election that didn’t mention he was referring to the automotive industry.
These critics claimed this was a new, anti-Trump “hoax” being manufactured in real time.
