Actor James Woods has mostly been blacklisted by Hollywood, but he’s found success at a new endeavor—tweeting. He has become somewhat of a legend on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, for his sometimes brutal, sometimes hilarious (sometimes both) takedowns of leftists and Democrats and anyone else who annoys him.
He was at it again Friday, taking the occasion of Rep. George Santos (R-NY) being expelled from Congress to mock other figures who should also be given the boot if they were held to the same standards as the ousted congressman.
As our friends at our sister site Twitchy noted, Woods rather ingeniously tweeted some of the claims made against the disgraced lawmaker but replaced his photo with those of other miscreants.
Let’s start with Sen. Bob Menendez, the Democrat from New Jersey who beat corruption charges back in 2018 but is facing new even more serious charges alleging that he engaged in a conspiracy to act as a foreign agent for the Egyptian government, which is a violation of the Foreign Agent Registration Act.
Even Pennsylvania Dem Senator John Fetterman thinks he’s worse than Santos, yet there he is, still serving his term and even indicating he will run for reelection.
Woods couldn’t let that pass:
But Woods was far from done. Next up: perhaps the greatest—and by greatest, I mean biggest—liar roaming the marble halls, Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who for years claimed he had smoking gun evidence proving former President Donald Trump colluded with the Russians to steal the 2016 election. Of course, Schifty, as some like to call him, has to this day shown exactly nada and proved exactly zilch. Woods:

Rep. George Santos (R-NY) is no longer a member of Congress. The House voted 311-114 Friday morning to expel him in the first House expulsion since 2002.
The historic vote sets a new precedent in the House. Santos departs even as he has not been convicted of a crime and has pleaded not guilty.
Santos survived two earlier attempts to expel him, but could not hold on after a brutal report from the House Ethics Committee on its investigations into his actions.
The ethics committee report included evidence Santos knowingly filed false reports with the Federal Election Commission, used campaign funds for personal purposes including subscriptions to OnlyFans and botox treatments, and willfully violated ethics laws as it relates to his Financial Disclosure (FD) Statements filed with the House.
Santos remained defiant until the end, but insisted in recent days he was at peace with whatever his now-former colleagues decided.
Thursday he introduced a privileged resolution to expel Rep. Jamaal Bowman, who pleaded guilty weeks ago to a misdemeanor for pulling a fire alarm in the Capitol complex.
“If the House wants to start different precedent and expel me, that is going to be the undoing of a lot of members of this body because this will haunt them in the future when mere allegations are sufficient to have members removed from office when duly elected by their people in their respective states and districts,” Santos said Thursday.

They voted him out.

As Rebecca wrote today, Rep. George Santos (R-NY) is no more. He’s gone, becoming the sixth member expelled after ethical and legal fiascos engulfed his short, but stormy tenure on the Hill. Over 300 members of the House voted to boot him, more than the two-thirds requirement necessary:
On Friday morning, the House of Representatives successfully voted to expel now former Rep. George Santos (R-NY), after previous attempts that had failed. Ultimately, the vote was 311-114, clearing the necessary two-thirds requirement by a healthy margin.
Almost as many Republicans voted to expel Santos as did not, with 105 voting to do so and 112 voting to not. House Republican leadership voted against expulsion, but many New York Republican freshman, including those also from Long Island, were among Santos’ fiercest critics.
Yet, as if this nonsense circus hasn’t been rowdy enough, here comes Democratic New York Kathy Hochul, claiming she has the power to appoint Santos’ replacement.
