On Friday, the FBI announced that they were reopening their investigation of Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for her mishandling of classified information as secretary of state. Since then, it appears that at least someone on the left finally got how ridiculous it was for the Democrats to strong arm nominate a candidate under FBI investigation.
On Monday, MSNBC’s Morning Joe addressed the media coverage of the reopened FBI investigation into Clinton’s private server, and co-host Mika Brzezinski didn’t hold anything back.
Brzezinski noted that the Democrats thought, just a week ago, that FBI Director James Comey was a “great, credible man with great integrity,” but now all of a sudden he isn’t.
“This all goes back to the server, something she shouldn’t have done, something that was way more than a mistake,” Brzezinski said.
From there, Brzezinski discussed how she had been on her “high horse” criticizing the Republicans for nominating Donald Trump but that it was the Democrats who did much worse — they nominated a woman who is under an FBI investigation.
While the Democrats bleat on about how “outrageous,” the reopened investigation is, Brzezinski made it clear that they will be singing a different tune if the FBI has something big. As Scarborough noted, despite the left’s protestations, clearly the FBI has something.
Scarborough went on to discuss the massively biased coverage of the reopened investigation and the way the media has worked overtime to spin it in Clinton’s favor — or at the very least make it less damaging.
Not only was the spin job dizzying, there was out-and-out misinformation spread as the liberal mainstream media scrambled to keep this from doing the massive damage it should do to the Clinton campaign.
The Right Scoop wrote, “Also Joe is right about the reporting. On Friday some were saying there were only three emails that the FBI found, when we know now there were hundreds of thousands.”
Brzezinski did some self-reflection and admitted her findings in a way that very few people in the media have the guts or the decency to do, and she was absolutely spot on.
From the outset, it has been absurd that Clinton was the Democrats’ nominee, and even worse that she didn’t get the nomination fair and square; the Democrat National Committee had to rig it in her favor.
Hopefully voters will wise up and keep Clinton out of the White House, but if not, she will undoubtedly be the second Clinton to bring enormous shame to the office — not to mention the amount of destruction her policies will wreak on the country.
