How do we measure success ⏤ by its accomplishments or by its dedication to embracing and keeping the American Dream envisioned by our founders?
It can’t be denied. Joe Biden’s Progressive government is an amateur dangerous clown show, not in free fall as its constant mistakes make it appear because it has nowhere to fall from; instead, it is like a swirl of unattached atoms spinning about, looking for something to cling to. It picks and chooses its causes, including evil ones, based upon the loudest screamers shouting for the government to support their side.
Right now, we’re being inundated by screaming mobs of history-ignorant pro-Hamas, pro-Palestine university students attacking Jewish businesses on the streets of American cities, threatening Jewish students in colleges and universities, and desecrating Jewish gravestones while demanding that Biden’s government end all support to Israel while giving humanitarian aide and comfort (fuel, arms, and ammunition) to the poor Palestinians. Maybe he should send them a fleet of unsold EV trucks!
Joe Biden is clearly in his dotage, and I suspect he hasn’t a clue about the serious Middle East foreign policy fiasco his appointees have created unfolding before him. His government of progressive stooges, Blinken and the four-star affirmative action idiot general Lloyd Austin installed as Secretary of Defense, have fallen back on the usual old Progressive memes calling for a permanent ceasefire because Hamas was being slaughtered and needed to be resupplied.
Meanwhile, Yemeni terrorists are lobbing rockets and drones at our Navy ships in the Red Sea, which the Navy has successfully defended itself against. Still, they haven’t been authorized to destroy Yemen’s radar or launch sites. Why? Because they are Iranian and Obama, not Biden, still believes a deal can be made with Iran that leaves them as the “Big Dog” in the Middle East.
That means Biden has, in effect, abandoned Trump’s Abraham Accords in support of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. I am convinced that Joe Biden, long skilled in the art of appeasement, personally doesn’t have a clue how to proceed.
Biden is confused about maintaining America’s role as leader of the free world because everything his government does is against America’s interests. He prefers to seek a vacillating ‘flip-flop’ formula that keeps Progressives in power. The Progressive Democrat Party’s view of the future is only to look a week ahead, take a WAG on how things will turn out, and stifle any opposition to their decisions until things finally collapse and folks will say, “We told you so!”
