Eric Adams Considering Curfew for Illegals in NYC Shelters After Claims of Panhandling

Published  January 13, 2024

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is now considering a curfew for illegal immigrants staying in city shelters after some residents have claimed that people have been leaving the shelters at night to panhandle.

Some NYC residents have said that migrants have actually come to their homes, asking for money, clothes and other things.

It’s so obvious to anyone with an ounce of common sense that this situation is unsustainable.

ABC 7 in New York reports:

New York City considering possible curfew for migrants in shelters.

There could soon be a curfew put in place for migrants in New York City shelters.

During a conference call with local lawmakers this week, Councilwoman Joann Ariola of Queens asked if the administration is considering a curfew at its asylum seeker locations like Floyd Bennett Field, Randall’s Island and the Creedmoor Psychiatric Center.

Mayor Eric Adams rolled back another of his administration’s migrant budget cuts Friday — restoring $10 million in funding to healthcare and mental health services for students across the five boroughs.

“This funding will continue to open the doors to opportunity for a record 110,000 New York City children, while community schools continue to provide essential support to young people and their families with the resources they need,” Hizzoner said in City Hall.

Along with the reversal of cuts, the mayor also announced City Hall would provide the $80 million to maintain the highly popular Summer Rising program.

The city summer program was expected to nix Friday sessions and operate under limited hours during the week next fiscal year after using up all the federal COVID-19 funds, which funded the program.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) hit Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott (R) over his “meanspiritedness” on the immigrant crisis, saying he “devastated” the lives of people coming into the country.

During his appearance on Good Morning America 3 Thursday, Adams said that Abbott is “intentionally” getting people on buses, “compelling” them to leave the city and that is why the mayor is hitting back with a lawsuit against a dozen charter companies.

“We reached out and tried to coordinate with just the mean-spiritedness of this governor who has, his intentionality of just placing people on buses, compelling them to leave the city,” Adams said. “That is why we’re taking legal action. When you look at what he’s doing, history is going to really reflect how much he has devastated the lives of people.”

In early January, Adams announced a lawsuit against 17 transportation companies where he is seeking $70 million to cover the cost of taking care of migrants coming into New York City. Abbott denouncedthe lawsuit, calling it “baseless.”

“It’s clear that Mayor Adams knows nothing about the Commerce Clause of the U.S. Constitution, or about the constitutional right to travel that has been recognized by the U.S. Supreme Court,” Abbott wrote in a statement on Jan. 4.

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
