Frank Luntz recently appeared on CNN and was asked about the possibility of New York AG Letitia James seizing Trump’s assets.
He gave the far left network a stark warning, saying that if James does this, she will essentially make Trump’s case for him and he will surely be elected.
The point Luntz is making is a good one, but it may have already happened in the mind of the public. People already see this happening. The mere possibility of it is as real as if it already happened.

All right, Frank, the politics of this. Folks in the Biden campaign are already starting to refer to Donald Trump as broke Don, which is interesting. And then there is the possibility that the New York Attorney General, Letitia James, would have to start or would start seizing assets, maybe even buildings. How do you think that would play?
FRANK LUNTZ, POLLSTER AND COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIST: I want you to remember this moment and don’t forget it. If the New York Attorney General starts to take his homes away, starts to seize his assets, it’s all going to be on camera. Pundits are going to sit there and scream about this, this man cannot be elected. You’re going to create the greatest victimhood of 2024 and you’re going to elect Donald Trump.
If they take his stuff, he’s going to say that this is proof that the federal government and the establishment and the swamp in Washington and all the politicians across the country and the attorneys generals and all of this, that this is a conspiracy to deny him the presidency. He’s going to go up in the polls just like he went up every single time they indicted him.
The indictment, let’s not talk about whether it’s justified or not, but it will prove the things that he’s saying on the campaign trail and he will go up and it may just elect him president. Do not forget that. And I say this to the Attorney General right now, if you play politics on this, this is what the secretaries of state did in Colorado and what they did in, I believe, is Maine. His numbers went up in both states.

Donald Trump claimed on Friday to have almost a half-billion dollars in cash but said he’d rather spend it on his presidential run than on the $454 million civil fraud judgment against him in New York. The former president vowed to fight the verdict “all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary” as the state gears up to potentially seize some of his assets if he doesn’t pay the hefty tab.
Trump has been trying to get a state appeals court to excuse him from a requirement that he provide financial guarantees showing he’s good for the money while he appeals the staggering verdict. He didn’t provide any documentation for his cash claim, and his lawyers have suggested it’s not feasible to tie up so much cash on a bond while also keeping his businesses running and meeting other obligations.
A Manhattan judge in February found that Trump repeatedly lied about his wealth on financial statements given to banks and others to secure loans and make deals. The judge ordered him to give up profits from certain real estate deals and money he saved by obtaining lower interest rates on loans. Trump denies that he tried to deceive anyone.

In what may be termed as the first step in the direction of seizing the property of former US President Donald Trump, the Attorney General‘s office has filed judgments in Westchester County, reports ABC News. With this, Letitia James has indicated that the state is preparing to seize Donald Trump’s golf course and private estate north of Manhattan, known as Seven Springs. If Trump fails to cover the $464 million judgment imposed by Judge Arthur Engoron by March 25, the AG office may seize his real estate property and freeze bank accounts.
Will Donald Trump raise cash?
Trump’s lawyers have talked about the difficulty the former president is facing in securing a bond. The former president is making attempts to raise more cash for both his legal bills and third run for the White House.

The judgment imposed by Judge Arthur Engoron has already been entered in New York city where Trump’s properties including Trump Tower, and his penthouse at Trump Tower are located. Donald Trump is now left with only four days to satisfy the judgment or convince an appeals court to allow him to post a smaller amount or defer posting the payment until after the appeal.
