When it comes to immigration, there is no question that conservative Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump has a bold stance about securing the border.
While Hillary Clinton has been pandering to the global elites for decades on immigration, Trump knows how much harm illegal aliens cause in America, in the form of higher crime rates and fewer jobs. America’s borders are not secure, and terrorists could easily enter into this country with minimal effort.
Americans need to know that, after 8 years of President Barack Obama’s failures, we will have a leader in the White House who will keep us safe and secure the border. No one doubts Trump is serious about building the wall and protecting American citizens from harm.
That’s why, with just hours before tonight’s first presidential debate, Trump is officially endorsed by the union representing more than 5,000 border agents!
This is incredible:
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump picked up the endorsement on Monday of the union representing 5,000 federal immigration officers, a boost of support for his immigration policy ahead of his first debate with Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Trump has laid out a hardline position on illegal immigration, proposing to build a wall along the U.S. southern border with Mexico and take other steps to crack down on the flow of undocumented people crossing into the United States.
With immigration likely to be discussed at the debate, the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council, a union representing 5,000 federal immigration officers and law enforcement support staff, announced it would support Trump, in what was described as its first endorsement of a candidate for elected office.
The union’s president, Chris Crane, outlined in a statement why his group is backing Trump, saying his union members are “the last line of defense for American communities” and that his members “are prevented from enforcing the most basic immigration laws.”[…]
Crane said the endorsement was conducted by a vote of the union’s membership and that Clinton received only 5 percent of the vote.
Clearly, border agents know that only Donald Trump is willing to do the hard work necessary to secure the border now. Immigration will certainly be a top issue in tonight’s debate.
