House Moves Forward on Hunter Biden Contempt Vote, Rejecting ‘Stunts or Delay’ Tactics

Published January 13, 2024

The House will move forward during the week of January 15 to hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress despite his offer to sit for a deposition if once again subpoenaed, committee chairmen said Friday.

The denial of Hunter’s offer suggests House investigators do not trust the president’s son. He and his lawyers frequently engage in delay and public relations tactics.

Hunter proposed on Friday to sit for a closed-door deposition if Congress reissued a subpoena, arguing the prior subpoenas “are legally invalid” because the impeachment inquiry “did not yet exist when the subpoenas were issued.”

Hunter’s offer appeared to be another public relations ploy to provide Attorney General Merrick Garland with a reason not to prosecute him upon a successful contempt vote.

The vote remains set for the week of January 15 despite Hunter’s offer, which the committee chairmen deemed another delay tactic.

This week, after weeks of Hunter mocking the House over its subpoena for a deposition, the House Oversight Committee voted to hold him in contempt. Now facing a referral for prosecution, Hunter declared that he might belatedly comply to avoid a prosecution.

Hunter is nothing if not consistent.

As with his taxes and other federal violations, Hunter is asking for a mulligan just before a possible indictment. For decades, Hunter has conveyed an attitude that laws do not apply to him or to other Biden family members. After all, as his father once said, “no one f**ks with a Biden.”

Since he was a young man, Hunter seems to have been told that he lives a life of privilege that entitles him to considerations denied to others. Indeed, in Washington, it was an open joke like when Hunter was put on the Amtrak board and later made its vice chair. When pressed on his lack of credentials for the position, Democratic Senator Tom Carper of Delaware quipped that “Hunter Biden has spent a lot of time on Amtrak trains.”

It appears that nothing is quite so funny as open nepotism in Washington.

Not surprisingly, Hunter’s life of entitlement would lead to a life of excess and debauchery. He was one of Washington’s noble class, a scion of a political dynasty. In time, he would be brought into the family business of influence-peddling with his uncles. For decades, the Bidens have been accused of selling access and influence to Joe Biden.

Published January 13, 2024

On Saturday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Weekend,” Biden 2024 Campaign Co-Chair Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) stated that maybe as a result of the Hunter Biden hearings “we will all learn a little more about how we ought to conduct ourselves when we are faced with these kinds of challenges.

That’s what being a public servant is all about, that’s what the President of the United States is all about, is showing the country how we should act and react in time[s] of crises.”

Clyburn said, “Look, President Biden is more than a President, he’s a father. Dr. Jill made it very clear that she is very concerned about how they are treating their son. This is an issue that we ought to pay close attention to, because if you are the party of family values, you ought to value family. They are not valuing family.

They need to stop this foolishness. We have two committees, let them pursue their work, but this grandstanding, going into secret so you can come out and interpret your views for the American people. Why not have the hearing in [the] open?

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
