Cliff Mass believes CO2 is melting ice (see link above), however only a small part of the melt is caused by plant food – That is, of course rather impressing given the fact that CO2 follows temperature, something all data has been showing for centuries.
In fact, if CO2 really did dictate temperature none of us would have been here as this planet would have been too warm for life to evolve given the geological levels of CO2 millions of years ago (Cambrian Explosion around 540 million years ago as an example with CO2 levels over 7000 ppmv.)
