John Podesta called President Trump a “whack job” and addressed him as “dude” in an outraged Twitter rant against the president Friday.
The former Hillary Clinton campaign manager was responding to the the president’s accusation that he refused to give up the Democratic National Committee’s compromised server to the FBI and CIA.
“Everyone here is talking about why John Podesta refused to give the DNC server to the FBI and the CIA. Disgraceful!” Trump tweeted.

“Get a grip man, the Russians committed a crime when they stole my emails to help get you elected President,” Podesta shot back.

“Dude, get your head in the game. You’re representing the US at the G20,” Podesta concluded.
Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch pointed out Podesta’s connections with the Russian government, such his involvement with Joule Unlimited, a company that received $35 million from a Russian state organization.
“By all standards he ought to be subject to an investigation on Russia collusion if that’s the standard they’re using to investigate the Trump team,” Fitton said.
Podesta blamed the FBI earlier this week for not enlightening Democratic officials about Russia’s hack of the DNC sooner. He insisted that as head of Clinton’s campaign he turned over Clinton’s controversial private servers but had nothing to do with the DNC and their servers.
“If anything, it’s on the FBI that didn’t come forward and really inform the DNC about what was going on until long after,” he told host Maria Bartiromo.
