The future has been described as the ‘undiscovered country.’ No one can know for certain what the future holds. However, we can look at where we are, observe our current trajectory, and make an educated guess about what our future is likely to look like. If we are smart, we’ll take that information and determine if we need to change course.
Take a look at our current trajectory. More and more government control of our lives. More censorship of our speech and press and more control over our thoughts. An increase in equity by a decrease in our standard of living. Less food, less power, less liberty. The collapse of our social safety net from the influx of illegal aliens. In short, the experiment in self-government George Washington said was entrusted to the American people will fail as the republic falls and is replaced by a corrupt and tyrannical oligarchy of a ruling political elite.
Just as road signs warn you that an upcoming bridge is out, recent events are flashing neon signs of our future. Will the American people change course before we fall?
