BREAKING: RINOS WIN! Jim Jordan Withdraws from Current Speaker’s Race – Pledges to Support McCarthy Ally Patrick McHenry as Interim Speaker for ‘Three Months’

Published October 19, 2023

RINOS WIN!

Rep. Jim Jordan withdrew from the Speaker’s race today after 22 RINOs derailed his vote for Speaker of the US House of Representatives.

Jordan was clearly the grassroots favorite but the GOPe successfully blocked his attempt to lead the Republican Party.

The Republican lawmakers who prevented this will certainly face primary challengers as they should.

There will be no vote for Speaker again until January at least. Jim Jordan is bowing out for now.

Instead, he will back McCarthy ally Patrick McHenry as interim Speaker until January. That is three months from now.

Jake Sherman broke this explosive news just a few moments ago.

The chaos and infighting inside the G.O.P. has damaged the party brand, and many worry the candidacy of the hard-line Representative Jim Jordan has sealed the fate of some Republicans who backed him.

In California’s 45th Congressional District, along Western Avenue in Buena Park, a giant billboard is set to display a photograph of Representative Michelle Steel next to former President Donald J. Trump and Representative Jim Jordan, the Republican hard-liner from Ohio she voted for twice this week for speaker.

“Rep. Steel Supports Extremism,” the billboard reads. “Stop the extremism.”

The advertising campaign, paid for by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, is part of a broad effort by Democrats to target Republicans like Ms. Steel, who represent congressional districts that President Biden won in 2020. A dozen of those vulnerable G.O.P. lawmakers have stood on the House floor this week and cast their votes to put Mr. Jordan second in line to the presidency.

Another group, the Congressional Integrity Project, began a digital ad campaign this week in those same districts, focusing on Mr. Jordan and his attempts to overthrow the 2020 election.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) will not seek an additional speaker vote Thursday, and he will back a plan to give Rep. Patrick T. McHenry (R-N.C.), the temporary speaker, additional powers, according to multiple people who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the situation. After two rounds of votes, a group of Republicans had made it clear that Jordan did not have enough support to win the speaker’s gavel. With House functions at a standstill, lawmakers can now consider a proposal to expand McHenry’s powers.

Fifteen days after Kevin McCarthy was removed as House Speaker, the chamber remains at a standstill and will not hold another vote to find a leader on Wednesday, a source familiar with the situation told The Hill.

House members cast a second round of ballots for Speaker, but House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) fared no better, in fact losing support from the first vote on Tuesday. The final Speaker vote was 199 for Jordan, 212 for House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and 22 for someone else.

But speaking after the vote, Jordan was undeterred in his work to reach 217 votes and flip holdouts. The next vote will be Thursday.

“We picked up some today, a couple dropped off, but they voted for me before. I think they can come back again. So we’ll keep talking to members. Keep working on it,” he said.

Meanwhile, the push to expand the power of Speaker Pro Tem Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) is heating up as the fractured GOP conference struggles to see a way forward.

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
