Image: Russia savors Mueller’s report but expects tensions to stay
Robert Müller knew from day 1 there was no “collusion”, it’s not even a crime. The reason he spent almost 2 years “investigating” was to find a crime – any crime – to pin on President Trump in order to get him removed from office. It was a witch hunt!

Russia’s foreign ministry called on the United States on Monday to formally recognize there was no collusion between Russia and President Donald Trump’s campaign at the 2016 elections following the conclusion of a months-long U.S. investigation.
Russia is reacting with an 'I told you so' in state media after the conclusion of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Moscow's involvement in the US presidential election that didn't find evidence of collusion. https://t.co/jCVUYEyboz

U.S. Attorney General William Barr said in a summary released on Sunday that Special Counsel Robert Mueller had found no evidence of collusion in his investigation, but had not determined whether Trump obstructed justice by undermining inquiries that have dogged his presidency.
“No matter your ideologies or your loyalties, this is a good day for America. No American conspired to cooperate with Russia in its efforts to interfere with the 2016 election, according to Robert Mueller, and that is good.” @BretBaier @FoxNews

This of course caused Rep. Adam Schiff and others to go full nutcase. “Mueller did not find sufficient evidence to establish conspiracy, notwithstanding Russian offers to help Trump’s campaign, their acceptance, and a litany of concealed interactions with Russia.
I trust Mueller’s prosecutorial judgement, but the country must see the evidence” Schiff tweeted.

For the Barr propaganda memo they clearly cherrypicked info from Mueller’s report to make it look like it clears Trump. There is nothing in the summary that exonerates Trump from anything. Nothing. Including anything with Russia. We need Mueller’s report, not Barr’s toilet paper.

That said, most do not share Schiff’s views on collusion and obstruction by the President:

It wasn’t just the younger generation of journalists who got the Russia-Trump story all wrong. Some of the most senior and most fairminded journalists did too, including, alas, my old friend Mort Kondracke. https://t.co/exRBtlPWfe

Some in the media are backtracking as fast as they can:
.@donlemon: "Make no mistake. This is a good thing that Mueller found no collusion with Russia by Trump or his campaign. … But the fact remains, Russians did interfere in our election." https://t.co/1EMb1TSB0G #DonsTake pic.twitter.com/II6ab8LIUB

For the media, it’s far too late to regain any credibility they may have once had.
