Shifting Winds For Ukraine Support: Secretary Austin Warns Stopping Aid Means Russia Will Certainly Win – Senator Tuberville Calls the War Too Costly: ‘It’s Time to Get This Conflict Over With’

Published November 1, 2023

Another day, another series of developments forecasting a hard future for the formidable international coalition that’s been sustaining the Ukrainian war effort for 20 months.

On the one hand, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, in testimony in the Senate, left it clear just how much Ukraine is dependent on American help – in a way that would have been unimaginable a few months ago.

On the other hand, Republican member of the Armed Services Committee, Senator from Alabama, Tommy Tuberville, unambiguously called the moment as perfect for peace negotiations.

Taken side-by-side, these two developments show just how much the geopolitical conditions have changed from before the failed Ukrainian counteroffensive.

Secretary Austin stated plainly that Russia would be successful in Ukraine unless the United States kept up its support for Kiev.

Reuters reported:

“Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken testified to the Senate Appropriations Committee on President Joe Biden’s request for $106 billion to fund ambitious plans for Ukraine, Israel and U.S. border security.

‘I can guarantee that without our support (Russian President Vladimir) Putin will be successful’, Austin said during the hearing. ‘If we pull the rug out from under them now, Putin will only get stronger and he will be successful in doing what he wants to do’.”

The Biden administration requested $61.4 billion for Ukraine, but so far seems unlikely to get it.

RELATED: Sen. Tommy Tuberville on Ukraine: ‘Right now would be a great time to negotiate’ amid ‘stalemate’

‘It’s costing a lot of lives in Ukraine and Russia,’ Tuberville said of the ongoing war in Ukraine, ‘There is no reason to have this’
Published October 31, 2023

Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., of the Armed Services Committee warned Monday that the war in Ukraine is “costing American taxpayers an arm and a leg,” and declared, “We have to get this conflict over with.”

“Right now would be a great time to negotiate over in Ukraine and Moscow to get this thing stopped, because they pretty much have a stalemate as we speak,” Tuberville said on “Kudlow.” There’s not going to be a lot of fighting happening. We have got to get this conflict over with. It is costing American taxpayers an arm and a leg, and it’s costing a lot of lives in Ukraine and Russia. There is no reason to have this.”

After a devastating terror attack on Oct. 7, the Israel-Palestinian conflict has eclipsed the war in Ukraine as the major conflict being discussed on the international stage. Many American politicians, facing their own economic hardships at home, are at odds about how foreign aid should be divided going forward.

House Republicans have rolled out a bill giving $14.3 billion in aid to Israel, while cutting into cash President Biden allocated toward the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) last year. The bill put newly elected Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La. at odds with the Democrat-controlled Senate and White House, both of which are pushing for Israel aid to be tied with dollars for Ukraine’s defense against Russia.

After FOX Business host Larry Kudlow spoke about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements rejecting the idea of a ceasefire, his guest Tuberville derided the state of the world amid Biden’s presidency.

On Wednesday, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama) spoke with the Alabama media about a number of topics of concern. Chief among these are America’s dwindling supplies of weapons and munitions. The United States, for the last 20 months, has been supplying Ukraine with artillery shells, Lancer missiles, Patriot missiles, Stinger missiles, drones, Bradley armored fighting vehicles, vehicles, parts, and other ordinance. The War between Ukraine and Russia is by far the largest war that has been fought in Europe since World War II, and the human costs have been staggering. The quantities of arms and munitions Ukraine has needed to fend off the Russians have also been enormous, and now it is affecting American stockpiles.

A reporter asked Sen. Tuberville about the situation.

“Well, if you go by what our President, Joe Biden, has said recently, we are running out of weapons,” Sen. Tuberville said. “They won’t give us a count on the weapons and munitions that we are behind on. It is kind of a secret in the White House. We need to build more. It is my understanding, and I have been to some places in Alabama where we build rockets, where we build missiles, where we build munitions. They are struggling to keep up. We are building them as fast as we possibly can.”

Hamas’s recent attack on Israel and the war that ignited will also strain U.S. stockpiles and the industrial capacity of American defense contractors.

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
