Trump lead over Haley expands in closing days before New Hampshire GOP presidential primary

Trump tells his supporters that ‘we need big margins’ in Tuesday’s Republican presidential primary in New Hampshire

MANCHESTER, N.H. – With two days to go until New Hampshire’s Republican presidential primary, a new poll indicates former President Donald Trump remains the commanding frontrunner, with former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley behind by double-digits, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis a distant third.

Trump, who is running a third straight time for the White House, grabs 55% support among those likely to vote in Tuesday’s New Hampshire GOP presidential primary, according to a daily tracking poll released Sunday morning by Suffolk University, the Boston Globe and NBC10 in Boston.

The former president’s support edged up two points from Saturday’s tracking poll.

Haley, who served as ambassador to the United Nations during the Trump administration, stands at 36%, with her support unchanged from the previous day.

DeSantis, once the clear runner-up to Trump in most polling, pulled in 6% support, edging down a point over the past 24 hours.

The poll was conducted Friday and Saturday evenings, entirely after Trump scored a convincing victory in Monday night’s low-turnout Iowa caucuses, the first contest on the GOP presidential nominating calendar.

A poll from Saint Anselm College that was also conducted after the Iowa caucuses also indicates Trump with a lead in the mid-teens over Haley and DeSantis in single digits in New Hampshire.

Meanwhile, a new survey released Friday from Marist College indicates Haley performing better against President Biden than either Trump or DeSantis in hypothetical general election matchups in November in New Hampshire, which is a key battleground state.

The survey indicates Haley edging Biden by three points, while the president tops Trump by seven points and DeSantis by nine points. Haley repeatedly emphasized on the campaign trail that she would perform better against Biden in the general election than Trump would fare against the president.

“We need big margins, “Trump urged his supporters as he spoke at a rally Saturday night in Manchester, which is New Hampshire’s largest city. “Because we have to send real unity as a message.”

RELATED: Exclusive — Trump National Spokesman Karoline Leavitt: Nikki Haley ‘Signing Her Own Political Death Certificate’

Published January 20, 2024

Karoline Leavitt, the national spokeswoman for President Trump’s campaign, joined Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM to discuss Trump’s momentum in New Hampshire after a historic win in Iowa.

“President Trump is on the heels of a historic victory in Iowa, breaking that 50 percent threshold that all the fake news media said he couldn’t do, winning by more than 30 points, absolutely demolishing both Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley, winning 98 of 99 counties, winning every single demographic across the board,” Leavitt told host Matt Boyle. “The great people of Iowa sent a very clear message that they want President Trump to make America great again, and that same message will be sent to the world come Tuesday in our great New Hampshire primary.”

Leavitt touted the campaign’s incredible infrastructure and volunteer network in the state, and that Trump “will be in New Hampshire every single night between now and election night.”

Trump was joined Friday night by former opponent Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), who formally endorsed Trump.

“That just shows you that not only does President Trump have great strength and momentum here in New Hampshire, but that momentum will be carrying him through to South Carolina and Nikki Haley’s home state,” Leavitt said. “And so if Nikki Haley really wants to lose two states in a row in Iowa and New Hampshire and then continue on with her embarrassing Democrat-funded campaign, she will be signing her own political death certificate in her own home state of South Carolina.”

Boyle noted that Haley is “not even competing in Nevada,” and that polling has Trump in the seventies. “It’s just blowout territory out there.”

Trump’s surge defies media projections, and his momentum, coupled with endorsements from Republican figures across the political spectrum reinforce his strength, Boyle argued.

“The Republican Party is absolutely unified around President Trump, and Republican voters overwhelmingly support him to be our nominee,” Leavitt said. “Neither Nikki Haley nor Ron DeSantis ever had a practical pathway to this nomination. That was proven in Iowa with President Trump’s historic record-breaking victory, and it will be proven again when he wins the New Hampshire primary.”

Inside the New Hampshire campaign to persuade Democrats to vote for Nikki Haley.

Published January 20, 2024

CONCORD, New Hampshire — At a rally in New Hampshire this week, Donald Trump railed against liberal efforts to “infiltrate” the state’s upcoming Republican primary, accusing Democrats and Never Trump conservatives of conspiring to elect Nikki Haley.

On its surface, it sounded a lot like another of Trump’s conspiracy-laden tirades — but in reality, the former president wasn’t entirely off the mark. In recent months, a handful of left-leaning groups have popped up across New Hampshire with the goal of persuading the state’s “undeclared” voters — who make up 42 percent of the voting population and are eligible to vote in either party’s primary — to back Haley.

One of those groups, Primary Pivot, is run by Robert Schwartz, a liberal activist who has spent his career countering democratic backsliding in countries across Latin America. The organization’s rationale is simple, Schwartz told me when I spoke to him this week: If Trump poses an extraordinary threat to American democracy — as many liberals and left-leaning independents believe — then those same voters should embrace extraordinary methods to stop him. And in New Hampshire, Schwartz believes, the most effective tactic to stop Trump is for liberal and independents to vote for Haley.

“We only care about damaging Donald Trump,” said Schwartz. “For better or for worse, the only thing you can do if you really want to stop Trump is to vote for Haley.”

By his own admission, Schwartz’s crusade is a long shot. As of October, when New Hampshire requires voters to select their party affiliation, just 3,500 people had switched their registration from Democratic to undeclared — it will take many, many more undeclared voters to cast a ballot for Haley next week to make a noticeable dent in Trump’s polling lead. History, moreover, is not on Schwartz’ side: Similar efforts to mobilize New Hampshire’s undeclared voters in 2020 and 2016 came up notably short. (Similarly, in 2008 Rush Limbaugh launched “Operation Chaos” to delay the Democrats settling on a nominee.)

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
