Trump to States: Use National Guard to Remove Migrants Across Border

Published January 26, 2024

Former President Donald Trump called on governors to use their National Guard soldiers to remove migrants back across the border. His post on Truth Social follows statements from 25 Republican governors supporting the State of Texas’s standoff against the Biden administration in Shelby Park.

“We encourage all willing States to deploy their guards to Texas to prevent the entry of Illegals, and to remove them back across the Border,” President Trump wrote. “All Americans should support the commonsense measures by Texas authorities to protect the Safety, Security, and Sovereignty of Texas, and of the American people.”

In part one of his post, Trump wrote, “In the face of this National Security, Public Safety, and Public Health Catastrophe, Texas has rightly invoked the Invasion Clause of the Constitution and must be given full support to repel the Invasion.”

The former president’s comments came on the day 25 Republican governors from Alaska to Florida, New Hampshire to Nevada, issued statements of support for Texas and Governor Greg Abbott’s mission to secure the state’s southern border.

“If Greg Abbott needs more razor wire, I’ll load it into a pickup myself,” South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem told Fox News Thursday night.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Governor Kristi Noem announced that she would travel to what her office called “the warzone” at the US-Mexico border on Friday.

Noem made the announcement on Thursday night on Fox News, saying she stood in solidarity with Texas Governor Greg Abbott and his efforts to stem illegal immigration.

Noem has sent South Dakota National Guardsmen to the border on three separate occasions and said she is willing to send them again.

“This is about our Constitution. This is about us standing united… I’m going to be at the border tomorrow to tell the Texas National Guard that we’re not only with them, that we have continued to be with them for the last several years. South Dakota has deployed our National Guard to support them and stand alongside them three separate times,” Governor Noem said on Hannity. “I’m so proud of what Texas is doing to defend itself. We’ll be right there beside them. We’ll do everything we can to make sure that this invasion stops.”

The announcement came hours after the governor and 24 other Republican governors, including Iowa’s Kim Reynolds and North Dakota’s Doug Burgum, signed a letter showing support for Texas’ efforts.

Noem says governors are commanders-in-chief, too

A Republican governor of an interior state pledged to drive in razor wire on the border herself if Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is stopped by President Biden or federal forces from retaining operational control of a park in Eagle Pass.

Meanwhile, the U.S. congressman who represents the area warned Biden would be an “idiot” to commence a standoff or worse with Texas National Guard members now using the park, as parallels were drawn to the last instance of National Guard federalization 67 years ago.

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem told Fox News that Abbott is doing the right thing by standing firm after a Supreme Court ruling in which two conservative justices sided with the liberals to vacate a lower court’s order preventing U.S. Border Patrol agents from accessing the park, which has reportedly been a high-traffic illegal migrant arcade. The court’s decision allows Border Patrol agents to cut concertina wire that Texas had installed along the border near Eagle Pass while litigation continues.

“I’ll drive in more razor wire from South Dakota if I have to, for [Abbott] to do his job,” Noem told “America Reports.”

“What people forget is that governors are commanders-in-chief. We’re responsible for the men and women of our National Guard. It’s a heavy responsibility that weighs on our shoulders, and so we never engage our National Guard soldiers and those men and women unless it’s incredibly important.”

In defying the order, Abbott said earlier this week the federal executive branch has a constitutional duty to enforce laws protecting states, and that the Founders intended for states not to be victim to the whims of a “lawless president.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt also indicated they stand with Abbott.

Aleading Texan nationalist has urged Governor Greg Abbott to dramatically expand and militarize the Texas State Guard if President Biden federalizes the Texas National Guard, as some Democrats are demanding, in response to the ongoing border crisis.

Texan House Democrats Greg Casar and Joaquin Castro have suggested Biden should bring the Texas National Guard under federal control using a mechanism known as Title 10 status if Abbott maintains his current policy over the border with Mexico.

On Monday, the Supreme Court ruled federal agents can remove razor wire installed along the border on Abbott’s instruction, sparking a furious response from the Texas governor. Two days later, Abbott released a letter claiming the current migration surge into Texas constitutes an “invasion” and that he had involved his state’s “constitutional authority to defend and protect itself” which “is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary.”

Posting on X, formerly Twitter, Daniel Miller, president of the Texas Nationalist Movement (TNM) which campaigns for the Lone Star State to declare independence from the U.S., called on Abbott to radically expand the State Guard and place them along the Mexican border if the National Guard is federalized.

He said: “If Biden federalizes the Texas National Guard, Greg Abbott should immediately throw enlistment in the Texas State Guard WIDE OPEN, fully militarize them, and deploy them as a Border Protection Force along the entire border.”

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
