Tucker Carlson Explains Why He Is Interviewing Putin: “Most Americans Are Not Informed… We’re Here Because We Love The US”

Published February 7, 2024

As the left freaks out about Tucker Carlson’s upcoming interview of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the former Fox News host (who can now be found at tuckercarlson.com) has published a pre-interview explainer over why he’s interviewing Putin – which boils down to an uncurious Western media, which has resulted in a grossly uninformed public.

Here’s why we’re doing it. First, because it’s our job. We’re in journalism. Our duty is to inform people. Two years into a war that’s reshaping the entire world, most Americans are not informed. They have no real idea what’s happening in this region, here in Russia or 600 miles away in Ukraine. But they should know, they’re paying for much of it in ways they might not fully yet perceive. The war in Ukraine is a human disaster. It’s left hundreds of thousands of people dead. An entire generation of young Ukrainians. And has depopulated the largest country in Europe. But the long-term effects are even more profound.

Carlson notes that the Ukraine was has “utterly reshaped the global military and trade alliances” and “upended the world economy.”

He also hits on the dire state of the Post-WWII (Bretton Woods) economic order, noting that it’s “coming apart very fast,” along with “the dominance of the US dollar.”

The failures of corporate media

Carlson notes that Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky has been the beneficiary of softball, curated, Western interviews which he calls “prep sessions.”

“That is not journalism. It is government propaganda,” said Carlson.

“At the same time, our politicians and media outlets have been doing this, promoting a foreign leader like he’s a new consumer brand, not a single Western journalist has bothered to interview the president of the other country involved in this conflict, Vladimir Putin. Most Americans have no idea why Putin invaded Ukraine, or what his goals are now. They’ve never heard his voice. That’s wrong. Americans have a right to know all they can about a war they’re implicated in, and we have the right to tell them about it because we are Americans, too.”

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin confirmed Wednesday, adding it accepted the request because Carlson’s views on Russia’s war with Ukraine weren’t “one-sided”—but denying Carlson’s claim he was the only Western media figure to ask for a Putin interview.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed Carlson—a vehement Ukraine critic—spoke with Putin for an unspecified amount of time, suggesting the interview will be released “as soon as it is ready,” according to the Russian state-run news agency Tass.

Peskov said Carlson was granted an interview with Putin because the former Fox News host’s approach was “in no way pro-Russian, it is not pro-Ukrainian” and was instead “pro-American,” Reuters reported

RELATED: Kremlin says Putin agreed to interview with Tucker Carlson because he differs from ‘traditional Anglo-Saxon media’

Published February 7, 2024

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on Wednesday that Vladimir Putin gave an interview to American political commentator Tucker Carlson, according to Russian state media.

Asked by journalists why Putin decided to speak to Carlson, Peskov said:

He has a position that differs from the rest [of Western media]. It’s not pro-Russian by any means, and it’s not pro-Ukrainian; rather, it’s pro-American. But at least it stands in clear contrast to the position of the traditional Anglo-Saxon media.

Peskov was also asked to comment on Carlson’s claim that “not a single Western journalist has bothered” to interview Putin since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The press secretary said that, on the contrary, the Kremlin has received numerous interview requests, but that they were all from Western media outlets “that take a one-sided stance”:

Mr. Carlson is not correct. In fact, there’s no way he could know this. We receive numerous requests for interviews with the president, but mostly, as far as countries in the collective West are concerned, these are from major network media: traditional TV channels and large newspapers that don’t even attempt to appear impartial in their coverage. Of course there’s no desire to communicate with this kind of media.

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
