Corporate America applauds, flatters Chinese dictator Xi

Published November 29, 2023

When American corporate titans stood and clapped to honor Chinese dictator Xi Jinping at a Nov. 15 dinner, the scene showcased just how submissive they are to a man who is trying to subvert the United States by cheating, drugging and ruining children.

It has to be a symbiosis unique in modern history. China is sabotaging America wherever it can; its leader comes to the United States and basks in sustained applause from our country’s richest industrialists.

As Mr. Xi entered the banquet hall as the U.S.-China Business Council’s guest of honor, the Chinese-owned TikTok social platform was promoting murderous Osama bin Laden and Hamas while bashing U.S. ally Israel, its citizens raped and murdered by Hamas. American children and Generation Z soaked it all up.

Maybe the U.S. and China need each other after all.

For all the trade tensions, tit-for-tat restrictions, spy balloon allegations, and more, Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived on U.S. soil and business leaders are flocking to meet him.

After a face-to-face meeting between Xi and President Biden Wednesday, their first in a year, China’s leader will have dinner with some of America’s top executives at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting in San Francisco.

While the guest list remains top secret, Microsoft (ticker: MSFT) CEO Satya Nadella, Tesla ’s (TSLA) Elon Musk, Citigroup ’s (C) Jane Fraser, and Exxon Mobil ‘s (XOM) Darren Woods are all expected to attend the summit, according to the agenda. A number of executives have been invited to the dinner, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the plans, and companies are scrambling for a seat.

A Citigroup spokesperson told Barron’s that Fraser is scheduled to give remarks at the summit Thursday, but declined to comment on whether she would be attending the dinner.

Chinese leader makes no mention of trade and investment at dinner with business leaders
Published November 28, 2023

SAN FRANCISCO—Foreign capital is fleeing China. Yet on his first trip to the U.S. in six years, Chinese leader Xi Jinping didn’t make a pitch to win back American businesses and investors.

Instead, at a Wednesday evening dinner with U.S. corporate chiefs and other guests, Xi sought to enlist American corporations’ help in easing bilateral tensions, emphasizing the room for both nations to work together—a theme of his meeting with President Biden earlier in the day.

To the the business leaders, Xi said, “China is pursuing high-quality development, and the United States is revitalizing its economy,” while adding: “There is plenty of room for our cooperation.”

The absence of any mention of trade and investment, let alone reassurance for businesses jarred by an increasingly tough environment in China, surprised and dismayed some of the executives in attendance, who described it as a missed opportunity.

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
