As President Joe Biden’s southern border crisis continues to spiral out of control, Republicans are warning of a massive caravan carrying thousands of illegal migrants that is heading toward the U.S.-Mexico border.
According to the Associated Press, at this time, approximately 7,000 illegal aliens are on the caravan— up from 5,000 earlier this week. One of the organizers said the migrants are traveling from Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, and Venezuela.
This will make the largest caravan since last summer. However, it marks a fraction of the numbers Border Patrol agents will encounter over a month.

Caravans have been a regular feature at the border in recent years, heading to the border in both the Trump and Biden administrations. They often break up on their way to the border, with migrants either seeking relief in Mexico or moving to the U.S. border to seek entry in smaller groups. But the images of the enormous numbers of people heading to the border offer a snapshot of how many have surged into the U.S. under the Biden administration.
Republicans are blaming the latest surge in immigrants storming the U.S. border on the Biden Administration as the country grapples with a historic crisis.
One of the first things Biden did when he entered office was dismantle Trump-era policies that kept encounters at the southern border at ease.

New House Speaker Mike Johnson seems pretty serious about addressing the issue at the southern border.
During a recent appearance on the FOX Business Network with Larry Kudlow, Johnson said that Republicans have tried to fix this but Democrats and the Biden administration have ignored them.
Now he says they are going to force the issue.

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson is promising to push the House’s H.R. 2 immigration stabilization bill to protect Americans’ right to a secure border, amid open-borders advocacy at the White House and the Senate.
The promise was made as the GOP and Democrats draft rival end-of-year spending bills for government migration agencies, for aid to embattled Israel, and for continued war against Russian forces along the Ukraine-Russian border.
Democrats “opened up the border under [border chief Alejandro] Mayorkas’s direction and President Biden himself,” Johnson told Fox Business, adding:
They allowed for this serious situation that we have, and now, the FBI has said — Director Ray said — just a few days ago that they suspect there might even be terrorist cells that are setting up and planning only God knows against American citizens. … Well, yeah, of course, when you keep the border open, you allow dangerous people to come in. You open yourself up for that kind of chaos.
We worked with everything we have for the last nearly three years to get that border closed and secured, and they’ve ignored us until now. We’re going to force the issue — and people want us to.

Ben Bergquam, host of Law and Border on Real America’s Voice, was down at the border again. This time he was in Sasabe, Arizona, which is a remote area next to the southern border. He is consistently doing what the mainstream media won’t, which is showing us just how bad Biden’s border crisis is.
As Ben was walking along the border wall, you can see countless amounts of illegals sitting against the wall, waiting to turn themselves in. Remote areas like this were also used for cartels to run drugs but are also being used now to bring in illegals.
Ben had gone up to numerous individuals that were waiting and asked them in Spanish where they were planning to go. Some said Mississippi, California, Pennsylvania, Nashville, Maryland and New York, among other locations.
He was offering help when he noticed a girl looked sick. He called for help on a satellite phone to the Border Patrol and asked one of them to translate. It turns out she had not eaten in two days.
Ben put the blame on the humanitarian groups that are showing up at the border to help because they are enabling the cartels. The man wearing the black mask is telling the group of illegals not to talk to Ben.
Ben Bergquam: “This guy is coaching them as we speak, this leftist out here who is aiding and embedding the cartels telling them not to talk to us, saying I’m a Trump supporter.”

It has been revealed that a record-breaking number of Asian Indian and Chinese immigrants are entering the United States through its southern border, according to the Daily Mail. Over the past year, approximately 42,000 Indian immigrants were intercepted, more than double the previous year’s figure.
This record-breaking trend has led to an unprecedented number of migrant encounters, surpassing 2.48 million in the fiscal year starting in October. In addition, an extra 1,600 Indians have crossed through the northern border in the last three years, four times the amount recorded before. These migrants typically turn themselves into the Border Patrol, seeking asylum due to ongoing unrest related to India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.
Since 2007, the annual number of illegal border crossings from India had only exceeded 5,000 on four occasions. This substantial increase can be attributed to various political and socioeconomic factors. Notably, Indian immigrants represent nearly 2 percent of the total encounters recorded by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) over the past year, which exceeded 2 million in total.
Recent U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) statistics also reveal a significant increase in unauthorized migration from China from 2020 to 2023. Chinese migrants saw a sharp rise nationwide and at the Southwest land border between 2022 and 2023.
Newsweek reports CBP estimates 45,000 Chinese nationals crossed the border. That’s up from 28,000 last year. Undocumented migration from China has been rising steadily since 2020.
