She has been one of the most insufferable voices on the Hill. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), a member of the squad, has been on a tear, spewing antisemitism and pro-terrorist propaganda in the wake of the October 7 terror attacks committed by Hamas. Over 1,000 terrorists invaded southern Israel and murdered 1,400 men, women, and children. When asked about Israeli babies being beheaded and burned, Tlaib smirked. She also repeated the lie that Israel had bombed a hospital in Gaza at a pro-Hamas rally in DC.
She deserves to be censured, but that effort got torpedoed when 22 House Republicans joined Democrats to table the motion last week (via CBS News):
Two of the House’s most polarizing members were spared potential punishment on Wednesday after lawmakers voted against moving forward on censuring Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib for her controversial comments on Israel.
The House voted to table the Tlaib resolution, effectively killing the effort to publicly reprimand her. Democrats appeared to pull a reciprocal effort to censure GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from consideration after the Tlaib vote.
A simple majority was needed to block the measure against Tlaib from advancing to a final vote, meaning Democrats needed GOP support. Twenty-three Republicans joined all Democrats in voting to kill the measure against Tlaib.
The House was expected to then vote on a motion to table the measure against Greene, but that was removed from the vote schedule after the Tlaib resolution was blocked.
And here is the list of GOP traitors (via The Hill):
Rep. Kelly Armstrong (N.D.)
Rep. Ken Buck (Colo.)
Rep. John Duarte (Calif.)
Rep. Chuck Edwards (N.C.)
Rep. Morgan Griffith (Va.)
Rep. Glenn Grothman (Wis.)

Rep. Bill Huizenga (Mich.)
Rep. Darrell Issa (Calif.)
Rep. Dusty Johnson (S.D.)
Rep. Doug LaMalfa (Calif.)
Rep. Thomas Massie (Ky.)
Rep. Tom McClintock (Calif.)
Rep. Richard McCormick (Ga.)

Rep. John Moolenaar (Mich.)
Rep. Chip Roy (Texas)
Rep. Austin Scott (Ga.)
Rep. Victoria Spartz (Ind.)

Michigan’s attorney general is calling on fellow Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) to “retract” the use of a “cruel and hateful” statement she used to sympathize with Palestinians that has a deeper, genocidal background.
“From the river to the sea” is a popular chant used by sympathizers of the antisemitic Islamist militant group Hamas, who want to wipe Israel completely from the map. Tlaib used this phrase Friday in a video posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, in a plea to President Joe Biden to call for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel (D) said she had defended the far-left congresswoman “countless times” because she believed her “heart was in the right place,” but asked for a retraction.
“@RashidaTlaib, I have supported and defended you countless times, even when you have said the indefensible, because I believed you to be a good person whose heart was in the right place,” Nessel wrote on X.

Pro-Palestinian Rep. Rashida Tlaib has accused Biden of genocide and demanded a ceasefire as she threatened electoral consequences in 2024.
Tlaib posted a video to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday showing pro-Palestinian marches around the countryand harrowing images from the Middle East conflict as she made the comments.
Biden’s declaration that the U.S. stands with Israel and opposes a ceasefire is spliced together with the harrowing imagery as she tells him ‘the majority of the American people are not with you on this one.’
Scenes also included protestors chanting from Ohio‘No peace on stolen land!’ Illinois, ‘Free! Free! Palestine!’ and Michigan ‘From the river to the sea.’
The video ended with Tlaib saying, ‘We will remember in 2024,’ before the words ‘Joe Biden supported the geocide of the Palestinian people,’ appeared on the screen.
The ‘Squad’ member faced a slew of backlash for the post with people accusing her of antisemitism and disputing her claims.
Tlaib is a member of the ‘Squad’ an informal group of eight Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives who are known for being among the most progressive and left-wing members of the United States Congress.
