Pyongyang previously claimed, within hours of Tuesday’s launch, that Kim was shown photos of US military bases in Guam taken by the satellite, named “Malligyong-1.”

On Saturday, the North claimed that Kim inspected images taken as the satellite passed over Hawaii at about 5 a.m., including those of “a naval base in Pearl Harbor, the Hickam Air Force base in Honolulu,” the North’s official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said.

Kim also reviewed the satellite’s images of the South Korean port city of Busan, which Pyongyang said were taken at about 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The photos included ones of the US nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, Pyongyang claimed. The vessel had arrived at the Busan Naval Base on Tuesday, Seoul’s military said.

RELATED: How advanced are North Korea’s ICBM capabilities?

Published November 24, 2023

North Korea’s recent launch of a space launch vehicle (SLV) has set off alarm bells in the U.S. and worldwide, intensifying concerns about progress in the regime’s intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capabilities. The U.S. National Security Council strongly denounced North Korea’s manipulation of ballistic missile technology in the guise of an SLV.

North Korea launched its military reconnaissance satellite from the Sohae Satellite Launching Ground in North Pyongan Province last Tuesday. Experts posit that North Korea is using satellite launch tests to refine the precision of its ICBMs, employing SLV technology specifically for dedicated ICBM purposes. This has fueled perceptions within the international community that North Korea is advancing its ICBM program.

There are also concerns about Russia’s involvement in North Korea’s technological advancements, with speculation about Russian assistance in data transmission between ground stations and satellites.

The National Intelligence Service (NIS) confirmed the success of North Korea’s reconnaissance satellite launch, and suggested Russian involvement.

South Korea has announced its intention to partially suspend an inter-Korean agreement after North Korea claimed it successfully launched a military spy satellite into orbit.

South Korea’s State Council responded to the satellite launch by approving the temporary measure and preparing to restart front-line aerial surveillance of the North, Seoul officials said on Wednesday.

The North’s latest satellite launch was a clear violation of UN resolutions and “a grave provocation that threatens our national security”, said Heo Tae-keun, South Korea’s deputy minister of national defence policy.

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
