Moment Russian troops are wiped out by Ukrainian HIMARS missile

A devastating new HIMARS missile strike has killed dozens of Russian troops, shocking drone footage from Ukraine appears to show. If confirmed, it would be the second such attack by Ukraine in as many days, after Vladimir Putin was dealt a devastating blow on Wednesday by a HIMARS missile which is reported to have killed 65 Russian soldiers during a training exercise.

New video, captured by a drone high above a Russian training ground in the occupied Kherson region, is said to show the second attack carried out by Ukraine using the powerful US-supplied weapons this week. The clip opens by showing a gathering of people - reportedly Russian soldiers - in a clearing covered in tank tracks near a lush green forest. Suddenly, as the drone camera circles around the group with a target marker in the centre of the screen, a huge explosion detonates amidst the unit.

A huge ball of fire rises into the air, and as the smoke clears, several bodies are seen strewn across the ground. But the onslaught is not over yet. The video cuts to a second view of the open field as more soldiers are seen gathering into another group. The men look like ants from the distance as they move into position, grouping near group of trees. This time, the flash of a missile is seen a split second before another explosion erupts from the ground. The soldiers drop the floor, as if struck by lightning.

After a second or two, some are seen writhing around in the dirt. Others remain still. The footage ends with a third explosion, near the site of the first strike. Moments earlier, more soldiers had appeared from the trees, apparently approaching the pile of bodies left by the earlier attack. The footage, which is said to show a training ground in Podo-Kalinivka, was released by the Ukrainian side on Thursday.

Podo-Kalinivka is home to the Oleshky Sands nature park, a large national park in southern Ukraine, that features expanses of sand. The footage suggests Russia is using the park as a training ground, with tank tracks seen in the sand. One Ukrainian channel claimed the victims were marines from Sevastopol in annexed Crimea, 40 miles to the south of the nature park, and reported that as many as 200 were killed. Other sources said the troops at the Kherson training ground were the 328th Airborne Assault Regiment, the 810th Marine Brigade and the 81st Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment.

  • A Ukrainian HIMARS strike killed at least 60 Russian troops gathered in an open field, The BBC reported.
  • The troops were waiting for a senior commander when the missile attack occurred.
  • Russia has repeatedly flouted simple military operations to deadly effect.

A Ukrainian HIMARS strike wiped out at least 60 Russian troops who were gathered en masse in an open field this week as they flouted a key wartime rule that Russia has repeatedly ignored throughout the war, according to reports and video footage.

The Russian battalion congregated at a training area near the village of Trudovske in occupied eastern Ukraine when the two missiles struck, The BBC reported Wednesday.

Sources familiar with the incident told the outlet that the soldiers were gathered to await the arrival of a senior commander.

Alexander Osipov, the acting regional governor of nearby Transbaikalia, confirmed the strike in a Tuesday Telegram post, providing details about the missile attack and information for the soldiers’ family members.

Osipov identified the 36th motorized rifle brigade as the affected battalion, but said information about the death count and details had been “greatly exaggerated.”

Graphic video footage from the aftermath of the strike shared online by Yaroslav Trofimov, chief foreign-affairs correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, showed dozens of dead bodies in the open field.

Additional video footage and estimates made by soldiers who survived the strike suggest the death count is at least as high as 60, The BBC reported. Surviving troops also said in a video viewed by the outlet that their commanders had forced them to stand in the open field.

Reports cited by The BBC said the men were waiting for Major General Oleg Moiseyev, commander of the 29th Army of the Eastern military region.

More than 65 Russian soldiers have been killed in a Himars strike as they lined up in formation to greet a commander at a military base in the Donetsk region, Russian sources said.

Moscow-aligned military bloggers reported that three High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, or Himars, struck a base of Russia’s 36th Separate Guards Motorised Rifle Brigade in the occupied village of Trudivs’ke in southern Donetsk.

Pictures and videos shared on social media appeared to show dozens of bodies strewn across a field, with others being lined up by survivors.

The strike was launched at about 9am on Tuesday when the military brigade was assembling, BBC Russia reported.

Servicemen of the 4th, 5th and 6th companies of the brigade were awaiting the arrival of Major General Oleg Moiseev, the commander of the 29th Army of the Eastern Military District, when the missiles struck.

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
