Republicans Demand Mayorkas to Explain How Terrorists Were Released Into the U.S.

Published April 4, 2024

House Republicans are demanding for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to explain how known terrorists ended up in the United States.

On Wednesday, House Homeland Security Committee Republicans sent a letter to Mayorkas asking him how illegal immigrants on the federal government’s “Terrorist Watch List” have been freed into the nation’s exterior.

Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN), Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), and Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX) cited several instances in their letter of known illegal terrorist immigrants who have been caught illegally living in the U.S.

Mayorkas has been accused of withholding crucial information regarding illegal aliens crossing the southern border who match the descriptions of those listed on the Terrorist Watch List.

The GOP congressmen detail more in the letter:

The first case involves a member of the U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization al-Shabaab. According to a news report, the alien was “caught illegally crossing the southern border near San Ysidro, California on March 13, 2023;” however, he was deemed a “mismatch” and was subsequently released into the interior. Almost one year later, the Terrorist Screening Center “made a redetermination” and confirmed the alien as a terrorist member of al-Shabaab, and then Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) located and arrested him.

The second case involves a Pakistani man allegedly on the terrorist watch list who illegally entered the United States but was apprehended by the Border Patrol the following day. Less than two weeks later, the Terrorist Screening Center confirmed his status on the “terror watchlist;” however, ICE eventually released him through the Alternatives to Detention program.

In addition to these unanswered requests for information, we are now facing a consistent stream of cases highlighted in the news of aliens allegedly on the terrorist watchlist either being apprehended at the border or discovered in the interior.

Published April 4, 2024

Republican members of the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security are demanding answers from Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas after learning that Border Patrol agents are releasing known or suspected terrorists (KSTs) into the country.

The demand comes after leading the charge to impeach Mayorkas in February and after FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before Congress expressing concerns about those illegally entering the U.S. with ties to the terrorist group ISIS.

In fiscal 2023, the greatest number of KSTs, 736, were apprehended at the northern and southern borders, The Center Square reported. This fiscal year, as of March 22, 210 known or suspected terrorists were apprehended attempting to illegally enter the U.S., according to CBP data. The majority are being apprehended at the northern border.

House Republicans are expressing concerns about those who weren’t being caught, or were being caught after they were released into the U.S.

U.S. Reps. Mark Green, R-Tenn., August Pfluger, R-Texas, and Clay Higgins, R-Louisiana, sent a letter Wednesday to Mayorkas requesting information about U.S. Customs and Border Protection processing and detention procedures for inadmissible aliens already identified on the Terrorist Screening Dataset, the federal database that contains sensitive information on terrorist identities.

RELATED: House Republicans: DHS must explain how terror suspects entered US

Published April 4, 2024

House Republicans are demanding the Department of Homeland Security explain how multiple terror suspects were allowed into the U.S.

In a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, exclusively obtained by NewsNation, House Homeland Security Committee Chair Mark Green, R-Tenn., and two other House Republicans specifically name four suspected terrorists who entered the U.S. and were identified after already being in the country.

All four have been arrested, but they spent a significant amount of time in the U.S., one of them a full year, before being taken into custody by law enforcement.

In a statement, Green said the incidents are an example of Mayorkas’ “breach of the public trust” and referred to his impeachment, which narrowly passed in the House on a second vote.

“Secretary Mayorkas waited three years to admit there even is a border crisis, and during that time, at least 1.8 million illegal aliens evaded apprehension at the border.

While we may never know the full extent of the homeland security crisis Secretary Mayorkas has unleashed, the apprehension of an alleged member of Hezbollah at the border just last month gives Americans a terrifying glimpse at the possibilities,” Green said.

“This impeached DHS secretary has empowered America’s adversaries through his open-borders agenda, and he must be held accountable.”

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
