The Take Our Border Back convoy heading to Texas is expecting at least 700,000 people to turn out for their events on Feb. 3.
The organizers of the convoy left Virginia Monday and stopped overnight in Florida where they rallied for more people to join their cause and organized to try and push the Biden administration into taking action on border issues.
Pictures taken by The Post Tuesday morning show the painted vans and trucks that have joined the growing convoy in Jacksonville, Florida, as they prepared to head through Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana onto Quemado, Texas, near border security flashpoint Eagle Pass.
Organizer Kim Yeater told The Post: “To the naysayers: We’re just ordinary citizens, farmers, ranchers, retired police officers. Not crazy conspiracy theorists.
“It will be a peaceful assembly of Americans of all political classes and all ethnicities.
“We’ve got Canadian truckers, moms and dads. We’ve got motorcycles. If people could bring horses they’d bring horses. I know the numbers we are looking at are 700,000. I think it’ll possibly be bigger than that.”
A second convoy is leaving from California to Yuma, Arizona – another area where migrants have consistently overwhelmed the border, and where for months people were able to simply walk through open floodgates at Lukeville.
Yeater said the group is not against migration into the US, but argues things have got out of control, with over 2.4 million people encountered on the Southern border in the last fiscal year according to the Department of Homeland Security, and a record 300,000 in December alone.

A convoy of protesters calling themselves “God’s Army” is making its way to the U.S. southern border, with organizers having an ambitious goal of attracting 700,000 people or more to shine a spotlight on the Biden administration’s lax immigration policies.
“To the naysayers: We’re just ordinary citizens, farmers, ranchers, retired police officers. Not crazy conspiracy theorists,” Kim Yeater, an organizer for Take Our Border Back, told the New York Post. “It will be a peaceful assembly of Americans of all political classes and all ethnicities.”
Yeater’s group left Virginia and Monday and stopped overnight in Florida, hoping to rally more people to their cause. The Post reported painted vans and trucks joined the growing convoy in Jacksonville, Florida, Tuesday morning as the convoy prepared to head through Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana and into Quemado, Texas, about 20 miles north of the border town of Eagle Pass, Texas, where a rally will be held Saturday.
“We’ve got Canadian truckers, moms and dads,” Yeater told the Post. “We’ve got motorcycles. If people could bring horses, they’d bring horses. I know the numbers we are looking at are 700,000. I think it’ll possibly be bigger than that.”
The convoy reportedly is expected to branch off Thursday in Texas and continue to the border town of Yuma, Arizona, which like Eagle Pass has been overwhelmed by the flood of illegal immigrants, for a rally Saturday. Also, a rally in San Ysidro, California, will take place Saturday morning, according to Take Our Border Back’s website, and then join the Arizona rally, culminating in rallies across these three states.

RELATED: Greg Abbott Warns Biden He’s Walking Right Into the ‘Biggest’ Blunder in Border Battle with Texas
Published January 30, 2024
Blundering Joe Biden appears to have gotten himself in another pickle. He’s pushed himself into a corner concerning the invasion at the southern border crisis and the standoff with Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott.
Some Texas Democrats, such as Beto O’Rourke, the former congressman and Democratic nominee for Texas governor, are calling on Biden to take control of the Texas National Guard if Abbott continues construction at the border, according to Spectrum News.
In an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News on Monday, Abbott said it would be a whopper of a “political blunder” if President Biden were to nationalize the Texas National Guard.
“This is the No. 1 issue in America. Americans want a secure border. If Joe Biden federalizes our National Guard, that would be the biggest political blunder that he could make, and that’s why I think he will not do it,” Abbott said.
“That said, of course, I am prepared in the event that they do make such a blunder to make sure that Texas will be able to continue to secure our border,” he continued.
Abbott just doesn’t think that Biden has the gumption to make the move, according to The Hill. He said he would be “shocked” if Biden were to federalize the state’s National Guard.
But Biden may see Abbott’s incredulousness as a challenge, an adolescent version of a double dog dare.
