The Ukrainian lawmaker charged with treason for ‘misinformation’ has been remanded in detention for 60 days – and, as the story unfolds and we get a better notion of who Oleksandr Dubinsky is, it turns out the story involves Joe and Hunter Biden, Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani.
Initial information was that Dubinsky was in hot water for his recent comments on the chaotic situation in the country, the unchecked corruption in Volodymyr Zelensky’s circle.
He wrote that the ‘real president’ was the Head of the Presidential Office Andrey Yermak, who went to Washington to gain authorization to ditch Commander in Chief Valery Zaluzhny, currently involved in a power play with Zelensky.

Security Service sources told Kyiv Post that a Verkhovna Rada member is implicated in a high treason case against Ukraine for spreading false info about the higher political and military leadership.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) press service said a Verkhovna Rada Deputy, a member of Ukraine’s parliament, is under suspicion of treason following a joint agency investigation that included recent searches of his residence.
While the SBU does not explicitly name Oleksandr Dubinsky, Kyiv Post’s sources from law enforcement agencies confirm his alleged involvement. Blurred photos accompanying the report purportedly suggest Dubinsky’s identity.
On Monday, Nov. 13, The Security Service of Ukraine and the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) conducted new searches of Dubinsky’s home, according to Kyiv Post’s sources.
The sources indicated his alleged involvement in a case of high treason. However, earlier they refrained from disclosing details of the criminal proceeding, including whether the deputy had been formally notified of suspicion under Ukrainian law.

KYIV — A Ukrainian MP who in 2019 helped former U.S. President Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani in his search for dirt on Joe and Hunter Biden has been charged with treason.
Oleksandr Dubinsky, together with ex-Ukrainian lawmaker Andriy Derkach and ex-prosecutor Kostyantyn Kulyk, had joined an organization formed by chiefs of Russia’s Military Intelligence (GRU), Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) said in a statement on Monday.
Although SBU did not name the MP in the statement, the photos and video materials attached to it identify Dubinsky, whose alias, “Buratino,” was taken from a 1930s Soviet “Pinocchio” knockoff.
Dubinsky met Giuliani during his visit to Kyiv in December 2019 while the former New York City mayor and failed U.S. presidential candidate was filming a documentary aimed at discrediting an impeachment probe into Trump.
“The main task of this organization was to take advantage of the tense political situation in Ukraine and discredit our state in the international arena. For this, the group was getting money from Russian military intelligence. Financing amounted to more than $10 million,” SBU said.
