WATCH: Israeli TV Show Mocks BBC Reporting of Gaza Hospital Blast

Published October 27, 2023

Israeli comedians have turned on the BBC’s reporting of the al-Ahli hospital bombing in Gaza, ruthlessly taking the national broadcaster to task for its rushed coverage and implied blame on Israel for the incident.

The Hamas terror organization pointed to an alleged Israeli air strike for the deadly attack and the BBC repeated the lie, while the Israeli military said al-Ahli hospital was instead hit by a fallen rocket misfired by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

In the satirical show, a fake BBC newsreader said: “Good evening from London, here are some news from the war in Gaza” before launching into a scathing take down of BBC reportage.

The attack on the BBC’s coverage comes after it was challenged for its coverage of the blast and Israel warned the broadcaster it could be stopped from reporting in the country for refusing to call Hamas terrorists.

RELATED: Gaza hospital blast: What does new analysis tell us?

Nine days after the explosion at the car park of Al-Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza City, the exact cause of the blast is still contested.

The Hamas-controlled Palestinian authorities in Gaza accused Israel of hitting the hospital with an air strike. Israel said a misfiring rocket from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) group was to blame, which they deny.

The UK said on Monday its assessment, based on intelligence and analysis by weapons experts, was that it was likely a missile fired from within Gaza towards Israel was responsible. French military intelligence also came to this conclusion.

The US had already said Israel was not to blame based on “overhead imagery, intercepts and open-source information”. The US – along with the UK and France – has not released the evidence that underpins their assessments.

Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry said almost 500 were killed. The Israeli military said the number was far lower.

Within 24 hours of the blast – which happened at 1900 local time on 17 October – the BBC Verify team had assessed video footage, pictures and other materials in an effort to understand what might have happened. A BBC journalist was also able to visit the site the day after the blast.

We have continued to look closely at the evidence and there has been further analysis from other media outlets as well as dozens of open-source intelligence experts on social media.

There are three areas which have been a focus since the blast: the lack of weapon fragments, the crater and damage at the scene, and video footage of a projectile rising over Gaza which was central to Israel’s description of what happened.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. intelligence officials have “high confidence” that an explosion at a Gaza hospital last week was caused by a Palestinian rocket that broke up mid-flight, and not by Israel, a U.S. official said on Tuesday.

The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry said 471 people were killed in the blast at Al-Ahli al-Arabi Hospital on Oct. 17. Palestinians and Arab states said an Israeli air strike hit the hospital.

Israel said the blast was caused by a failed rocket launch by the Palestinian militant Islamic Jihad group, which has denied responsibility.

U.S. President Biden said a day after the incident, while visiting Tel Aviv, that the explosion appeared to be the result of an errant rocket fired by a “terrorist group”, echoing Israel’s view.

The New York Times, NBC News and other U.S. media reported the U.S. intelligence assessment earlier on Tuesday, citing a briefing with reporters. The U.S. official declined to be named as the information remained confidential.

Why do CO2 lag behind temperature?

71% of the earth is covered by ocean, water is a 1000 times denser than air and the mass of the oceans are 360 times that of the atmosphere, small temperature changes in the oceans doesn’t only modulate air temperature, but it also affect the CO2 level according to Henry’s Law.

The reason it is called “Law” is because it has been “proven”!

“.. scientific laws describe phenomena that the scientific community has found to be provably true ..”

That means, the graph proves CO2 do not control temperature, that again proves (Man Made) Global Warming, now called “Climate Change” due to lack of … Warming is – again – debunked!
